Game Pass is the wow factor. Imagine a very affordable service that will bring us Back4Blood, Dark Alliance, The Ascent, Forza Horizon 5, Halo: Infinite, Psychonauts 2, Scorn, Hades, 12 minutes, Aragami 2, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Age of Empires 4, Flight Simulator, Sable, etc., this year. Bullshit. I got 100% done in about 12 hours. Then it was another four for the Plat as you need to play through NG+ (but can do so on Easy and skip all cut scenes).

I've got 31 hours in MM so it isn't bullshit at all. Your play through was about average for completing everything according to those polled on howlongtobeat.com. My play through went longer than most as I take my time with open world games. Either way, the time people invest in a game is going to vary.

How do we even know Starfield will be good especially given Bethesda’s recent track record? I honestly think we should wait until we see some actual gameplay before we put it up there with the high scoring, consistent quality games.

When I see people paying 70 bucks for multiplats that run better on Xbox and are free on Gamepass makes me go wow.

Some if not most multiplatform games usually don’t even come to Gamepass. There are a few exceptions for multiplatform games, but you usually have to wait a long time for them to come to Gamepass.

Funny considering there was little to no gameplay at the microsoft event but CGI trailers about the characters and story. So everyone should have been wowed, right?

Some xbox fanboys can't admit that sony makes good games so they have this no gameplay/walking sim bullshit because you happen to walk in the game. Then they turn around and fawn over the graphics of a game where you're just staring out a plane window for almost the entire game.

Legit question.... What does the ps5 releasing have for the rest of the year? It's only had demon souls and R&C as true exclusives. It's not like there have been huge differences between platforms in amount of exclusives so far.

Flight sim, Forza horizon 5 and Halo is a pretty good lineup.

I absoloubtly love Sony games. I only had A PS4 last gen (well a switch too) but I practically games exclusively on it. God of War was my fav last gen, plus uncharted 4 and last of us part ii (yes I actually liked it).

Xbox just needs time for people to come round. I think its sonys legacy and track record that gets people so hyped and excited. They've earned that. Once these games are out and playable, the reception towards xbox will become even more positive over time. Sony have already earned it through their consistent quality spanning over 25 years.

Why would anyone be hyped about Starfield at this time?

All we have is a name, a date that's nearly 18 months away, a CGI trailer and virtually no information about the actual game.

Personally, I am really looking forward to a new ip from Bethesda Softworks as Fallout is feeling a bit tired and it would be useful to have something else in the rotation. I am really eager to get more information about it. And if it does turn out to be a return to form for Bethesda then it’ll be a system seller for me. But it is WAY too early to be hyped about it.

Isn't “Xbox has no games” about them having all their first party games in the pipeline instead of on the shelves. It’s all a bit jam tomorrow when PlayStation has jam today.

Historically there have been issues with quality consistency and variety of the Xbox first party, although this will undoubtedly change in the coming years as the pipeline starts to deliver. But they’re not quite there yet. My view at the start of this gen was PS5 at launch and XSX in '22. That’s still my view.

Of course there are plenty games to play on Xbox, there’s just not a heck of a lot of exclusive content.

This is why you are saying someone will telling you are wrong. I present you evidence. Go watch digital foundry on ratchet and clank and open your eyes. It's the most impressive looking game to date. From material rendering to ray tracing at 60 fps. Character models rendering is second to none. Even close up show how ridiculous detail the character model is. Oh here one more little nugget, The ray tracing is rendering at a full res checkerboarding. Now tell me which game look as good as ratchet running 60 fps with full res ray tracing on xbox? Exactly none, not now and seem not yet in the future either.

forza horizon? its up there as one of the best looking games i've seen. they also got the coalition, who are very good in the visual department. maybe not as good as sony but they're creeping up.

Returnal, Deathloop, Spider-Man Remastered, Astro, Destruction and the cross-gen games (miles, sackboy) don't count as real PS5 releases for some reason but then you name Horizon 5 and Halo, both cross-gens and a late port as a better lineup. Why the dishonesty? Why ignore more than half the lineup and then say they have the same amount?

PS5 has 3 next gen exclusive games out now demon souls, returnal, R&C, and cross gen Spider man. There are a few 3rd party maybe times exclusives for the fall, a few with question marks Horizon etc.
As of whats now Xbox has 0 exclusives. This fall xbox will have 2 Flight Sim, Forza 1 cross gen Halo
(ill throw a bone and add Flight Sim, it just falls into a weird category like truck driver sure its looks great but ah yeah its a flight sim not ace combat)
Xbox has a good line up overall just a year late.
Like I said no cap xbox shows up 2022-23.

Yeah theres a huge difference. Since launch PS5 has exclusive titles that have shown why you might want to own a ps5. You cant get those experiences anywhere else. Xbox has not, and its the reason i havent bought one yet. This fall might change that for me, Im not super excited for Flight sim or Forza.Xbox 2022-23 yeah I will be there. We'll see what sony announces for fall.
