It is known Xbox doesn’t sell that much software, physical/digital ratio or not. Adding digital doesn’t make up that much for the 3rd party sales splits with PlayStation.

Bundles help with sales....DUH! That doesn’t mean Sony games don’t sell outside of bundles. We’ve already game sales increase alongside PS5 stock.

People are trying to create a new narrative around bundles and it’s comical to watch.

Yes xbox got physical in uk. It just don't sell. You can't hide your salt behind your yawn as much as you like but that's a fact

1. Why does the sales of a third party game matter to the consumer anyway? If you play it on gamepass or buy it who cares what the raw sales data in UK are outside of fanboy wars.

2. Of course the fact that physical sales are dwindling as time goes on this data out of context means nothing. The game is on gamepass, on a platform where the vast majority of games are bought digital.

3. Developers win regardless. The lump sum to put it on gamepass was enough where they thought that despite the sales may be lower due to it being on a service the benefit to raw player numbers mattered more.

You can buy ps5 on ebay for cheap. There are plenty available. People are buying the bundles because they want to. It comes with bangers. I would too if I didn't have ps5. They hot the good shit

In a year and half Sony has released a single bundle: PS5 + Horizon Forbidden West.

Every other bundle you may see is forced by each store.

Here in Portugal there was an actual bundle last week that looked like this...for almost 800 euros...and it was the ONLY one the store was selling:

The PS5 + Horizon Forbidden West bundle. That part is from Sony...but they added physical copies of, Gran Turismo 7, Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (which means it brings the Spider-Man Remaster as well), ANOTHER PS5 controller and a PS Store card with 30 euros.

You either bought all this or you got nothing.
