Twitch's new problem: hot tub streamers moved to ear licking ASMR [NSFW I guess]

I don't understand why Twitch allows it. There's any number of porn sites where you can livestream. Why do that here? The thing is the Twitch crowd is the Twitter crowd is the depraved pervert crowd who think they have to be seen as sex positive, perversion positive, and tear down any semblance of traditional morals.

What is the greater issue is that this kind of content being on Twitch is “normalising“ it in a space it should otherwise not be part of. The other point is that it is taking advantage of (generally speaking) a specific group of people with a natural interest in such visual stimulation. It’s demeaning them to nothing more than “come, sit, watch me make money whilst I take advantage of your view and donation” ..

if this is the kind of normalised content that is in the same list as gaming, that there is nothing wrong with it with advertisers or with Amazons principles, then we might as well have newsreaders wearing the very same clothing, normalise it everywhere.

if you are happy to have this kind of content freely available when someone is looking for gaming content, then all well and good. But this does not belong on Twitch, and no argument about “freedom of the female form“ to be used to earn money in this space will make this argument valid.

No they need to give up the softcore porn.

Their majority audience is there for games. Not high tech whores. They need to nut up and set a hard line that actually matches their TOS instead is dancing along this nonexistent line between softcore porn and streaming that they have established. Everyone knows what is going on. Twitch just doesn't have the balls to stop it because money.

Edit: Just to be clear I have nothing against anyone wanting to use their body or appearance for money. Not at all. I fully support sites like Pornhub and OnlyFans that allow regular people to profit off their appearance. My issue is that Twitch is a video game streaming service populated mainly by kids. Doing this on a place like Twitch just rubs me the wrong way and I am not okay with it. It's it is intentional irresponsibility at best and it is the exploitation of minors at worst. It's not okay.

I agree. Like you I have no issue with women who want to stream their bodies using websites like onlyfans but Twitch is not the place for it. If it's target audience is kids, then it's TOS should reflect that & it should crackdown on anything that wouldn't be allowed outside the watershed on normal TV channels. (Eg dodgy camera angles that just show off a streamers chest) - I can't help but feel it massively devalues gaming/streaming as a whole when it pretty much forces women to show their bodies off like this just to compete on twitch. It's not right.

Plot twist: It's the same target audience

I mean there's a bit of a difference between a character in an 18+ video game & someone streaming simulated sex acts on a website that's aimed at kids.

Again - Knock yourselves at putting this stuff on live jasmin or onlyfans.

I'm agreeing with you, not sure if it came across that way? I'm just saying it's stupid to demand a woman covers in M games but be OK with 'streamers' in bikinis

ah sorry my bad, I get the point you were making now :p Yes you're right, it's odd how sexualised content (In an adult video game) is seen as the devil by the same people who say this kind of streaming on a PG 13 website is "Sex-positive" & "empowering"

If you ask them its all a matter of „choice“.
Games: Devs are implementing sexy characters to cater to „perverted white male“ gamers is a sign of male dominance and objectification.
Streamers: sexy and body positive of their own design is a sign of female empowerment

The fact that both are a thing due to the same target audiance and for the same reasons somehow eludes them.
The whole situation is all but a matter of perspective made up for the sake of argument.

Because every other site apart from Twitch pays way less, since also there are by definition no minors there. Easy to influence, easy to make them open their wallets.

Until you go on other female streamers streams and see nothing but "ONLYFANS WHEN?!" - It's awful.
I don't know why you'd stream on twitch if you're a female streamer right now who just wants to play games. It's a trash heap.

They'll be back in less than one week

Yeah they don't give a damn. They're joking about it on Twitter whist posting links to their onlyfans.

I mean let's be real twitch is never going to ban them for good. It's a service based on nepotism only which is made to create polarizing content in order to generate traffic. The fact that they can't draw a line ever about anything as far as the top dogs are concerned just tells you everything you need to know
'
Kinda regretting the times when cute Korean dancers were the top views in just chatting. Just wholesome stuff

Twitch is afraid to draw more hard boundaries and it will never stop being funny to me.

As someone who has done ASMR videos in the past, this just makes me sad. What was supposed to be a way to get people to relax has turned into a sexual experience.

Not that I'm saying those can't be a thing, I would rather it be a niche thing than a mainstream one.

The market decides

Some streamers even combine the two

They got 3 day bans. A long weekend away from streaming basically, haha. Meanwhile Dr disrespect still permed and velvet

Twitch mods are just socially awkward people who don't wanna action the cool kids.

Well, first with hot tubs and now with ASMR. These hot girls for sure are creative finding new successful business. I'm pretty sure that mixed with Only Fans they must be earning a ton of money.

And Twitch also must earn a ton of money with them, I highly doubt they will ban them forever. I think that with some changes they will find some way to fit everything. Probably splitting Twitch into a 18+ horny jail part with hot tubs, asmr and whatever else they do and a kids/puritanist/woke/etc friendly part.

If Twitch loses them they will find a place somewhere else, a platform who will earn tons of money that Twitch will lose. I think the girls should be free to do whatever they want, and Twitch sould be free to decide if they want to stop a ton of money.

CohhCarnage also did a rant about the state of Twitch at the end of his stream yesterday. I wouldnt be surprised if that caught a few Twitch staff off guard.

Yeah, I get it. I'm not hatin', just a little disappointed is all.

Sex always sells, and that will never change.

If parents dont want their kids watching stuff like this, then maybe they should pay more attention to their kids.

Yoga poses, hot tub streams, and licking a microphone are all so PG-13

I remember staying up super late to watch Girls Gone Wild infomercials or Howard Stern Show on E channel when I was that age. Just to see some blurred tits. This is no different.

$20 says the kids see way more graphic things than this when their parents aren't around. It's 2021 ffs.

Dr Disrespect was pretty disrespectful when he was filming in a bathroom with underage boys in there.
Its nothing to do with that. He got his month ban and was streaming for months after that.
The 'accepted' theory now is that the Doc was trying to negotiate a new contract with Twitch, and was using an old offer from Mixer that he had as leverage, but about a week later Mixer announced it was shutting down lol, so it became obvious that Doc either didnt have a offer from Mixer, or he was leveraging using a very old offer.

Basiclaly Doc tried it on, and lost out this time.

He's been pretty vocal about the state of Twitch lately. And If a guy like Cohh speaks out against something, you know you fucked up. Dude is probably the most positive-minded guy on the platform.

Yeah, i thinkl the part when he was going on about how he wants to be proud that he works for Twitch, when people ask him what he does, he wants to be proud to say he works on Twitch, and not have to lower his face and change the subject, or worry about if hes going to get replies like ;'is that the site with all the soft porn girls on?', etc.

That would hit me hard if i owned Twitch.

If you have a nice pair of headphones and are home alone... there are waaay worse ways to spend a Friday night

I stand with these two lovely entrepreneurs

TWITCH WILL NOT DIVIDE US

:messenger_loudly_crying:
There are plenty asmrtists on youtube who use their sexuality but also actually make great asmr. These two twitch prime thots are making asmr meme content that is cringe as fuck and terrible asmr.

Yeah, nepotism. which is funny considering they don't care about the guys streamers as much as they care about the girls. Even in that area they're inconsistent lmao

Enough with this shit argument. People always blame “parents” to excuse their shit behavior

It is impossible for parents to monitor every second of their child’s life.

Most parents probably think twitch, a video game website owned by Amazon, which doesn’t sell porn, and is endorsed by every major video game publisher, none of whom sell porn, is safe for their kids to visit. Twitch isn’t even put on a lot of child blocker apps.

It’s like if Nickelodeon started airing soft core porn in the middle of the day, and people got mad at the parents for not knowing. Not Viacom for airing it

Half these kids are discovering themselves and have seen far worse on PornHub already anyhow

Don't be a deluded puritan
