I'm far from a prude but this is just gonzo to me. I'm a dad and I know this shit is just flying under the radar of every parent with a kid under 10 and they would freak out if they knew.

And if going by all my kids friends in the neighborhood they ALL watch Twitch religiously. Hell they have a teacher who streams every night and they worship that guy as a God and all he's doing is some wholesome stuff to engage with his students better. Hard to believe a click away on the same platform is a girl in a pigeon mask and lingerie simulating oral sex on a microphone...

I'm all for "GET THAT MONEY YO" but jesus christ lets maybe take a step back here and re-evaluate what the fuck is going on for a sec.
This, my oldest is a 3-year old girl. I’m sure one day some stupid shit scandal will mean reckoning for Twitch. I’m surprised there isn’t any child-friendly alternative, anyone wants to start a start-up together?

Yeah they should seriously give up the pretense of being a "Game streaming" website at this point. I don't really care what people are into it, but it's not right when it bleeds into a site that's aimed at kids.
No they need to give up the softcore porn.

Their majority audience is there for games. Not high tech whores. They need to nut up and set a hard line that actually matches their TOS instead is dancing along this nonexistent line between softcore porn and streaming that they have established. Everyone knows what is going on. Twitch just doesn't have the balls to stop it because money.

Edit: Just to be clear I have nothing against anyone wanting to use their body or appearance for money. Not at all. I fully support sites like Pornhub and OnlyFans that allow regular people to profit off their appearance. My issue is that Twitch is a video game streaming service populated mainly by kids. Doing this on a place like Twitch just rubs me the wrong way and I am not okay with it. It's it is intentional irresponsibility at best and it is the exploitation of minors at worst. It's not okay.

Does this whore have an only fans or leaked noodz? She could be raking ten times as much on chaturbate or a similar site fucking purple dragon dildos ad nauseum to the benefit of us all!

I dont use twitch personally, but as a nerd gamer, I can see the value in it so long as it sticks to what it was intended for. This however is just shameless whoring and has no place on the site unless they want to create a separate section for adults.

There are already sites for this woman to self exploit her body and it is wrong of twitch to allow this type of thing to continue.

If I worked on GTA VI I would make a satricial version called Snatch and you have to help strippers gain clout on the site through a series of missions... But I digress

maybe twitch should have 18+ section for porn and stuff, make it official
they won't do that because a lot of people donating to this softcore porn is underage. Also, making a section adult only, would probably result in more pressure from their payment partners, and advertisers.

I saw a recent discussion about how "Sex workers" (can anyone not laugh at this?) are making more being on Twitch than they can at the local pole.

I have a close friend who makes his money via chaturbate. He was telling me he makes more money splitting his time between actual sex stuff on chaturbate and 90s HBO softcore (which mostly means tight fitting clothing while doing literally anything) on Twitch or Plex while playing games. Still has issues reining in the 'porn stare', though.

I never understood ASMR and I never will, but just like the hot tub streams: more power to these streamers and I kinda applaud their ingenuity in continually finding new ventures.

I just don't understand how people think it's ok to have these on a website targeted for kids, it's basically pedophilia

Everyone is so derailed into sex, they can't stop thinking about it. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

I was actually wrong, its Onlyfans and Chaturbate(never heard of that) that is booming.

He's mentioned in the past that he didn't want to do Onlyfans because it's actually more work. With Chaturbate, it's just switch a camera on and you can basically do whatever wherever you happen to be sitting. But onlyfans you've actually gotta plan stuff out in advance, have access to basic editing skills, have content outside of the usual. Requires making an actual product that people are buying.

I told him he was being a lazy bitch. Hell, I offered to do the editing for him.

#twitchpartner isnt that all that needs to be shown? So many common sense identification(see what i did there ; )) terms that could be used, but of course, it would hurt someone's feelings. Trust me everyone is thinking it, everyone knows it, and everyone is making a joke of it.

u can think what you want but this Amouranth is a ruthless business woman who is clearly using the market and she is clearly making a lot of money.
Is that supposed to be a.. compliment? Or some special achievement only few are capable of? You make it sound like earning money is a privilege of the high IQ elite or something.

This is fucking weird, lmao.

I remember being a wee bairn and walking back up the city centre from nights out. If you had a spare pony (£25), you could wander past the old university street and get a 'going home blowjob', while you finished your cigarette, fisting the air. Alternatively you might come across one desperate for a cig or a blunt who would give you a flash of her tits for a loosey.

With services ranging from the likes of local flyers, adultwork, punter net, exotic/specialist and high end with a spectrum of prices and girls - as well as all this going digital with onlyfans etc., I've no idea what's happening, lol. I have no idea where the thrill of eye contact or getting your name on a whiteboard comes from. Hilarious.

Exactly this. At least those participating in the lives ruined by 'extreme porn' are in a position to know what they're searching for and what they are part of. Here, you've got young girls and boys seeing this shit as being 'aspirational' or a legitimate career. Also you have to put safeguards in place for those people drawn to this shit who are vulnerable and have depression/low self worth and use it as outlets for unhealthy approval.

Most of these are strategic bans anyway. It's the only way these people get a 'break' from the always online stuff. If they're banned, they can blame the system while having a beach day or just downtime. These careers are more like fireworks than log burning candles, and most of this money will find its way back into the system, when they burn out and can no longer afford their $1.2 million houses etc. so have to downsize/liquidise.

At the end of the day, fair play to these women at the moment. They are gaming the system and doing it well. Exposing the hypocrisy across the gaming industry at the same time. Them earning shitloads doesn't affect me negatively so 🤷‍♂️ The big question mark here is Twitch and its role as a content provider and how it regulates its categories.
