This is like the biggest non-issue on the planet imo that has been blown completely out of proportion and people are extremely obsessed with it.
What really blows my mind is all of these '' think of the children '' and '' it's not family friendly '' arguments people throw out without actually thinking about the implications of what they're saying ( so should only family friendly content be allowed? Say goodbye to video games. ).
If people didn't obsess about it so much and bring such an insane amount of attention to it then it really wouldn't even be a big deal at all.
Most of the big ones are probably set for life already.
I dunno tho I think these arguments are kinda silly too, it's not like every Streamer has this amazing personality or talent either, a lot of them are just acting like toddlers and screeching.
Very few of them are like DrDisrespect or something that have an actual persona and some actual thought and talent put into it.
Most streamers are really '' whoring '' themselves out one way or the other they just do it in different ways.
I think that most Streamers have an '' expiration date '', very few will be able to do it and stay relevant their whole lives.

Just to clarify, by twitch having non-harmful ads, I'm specifically saying they don't have ads where an accidental click could lead you to a virus, data leak, or worse, like other adult sites. If the only harm they do is make you wait longer before accessing a stream, then that's not a bad thing comparatively.
