I would say trust your own taste more than reviewers, it rarely failed for me.

Many do not even complete video games.

I have always said that the best reviewer is the gamer.

I'm enjoying the shit out of Mad Max right now, but that game reportedly has a meta score of 68 or something.

...if only some here realised how many good and functional games the press "buried" under poor reception or stigmatized by bad reputation. The gaming community only has itself to blame for listening and giving these reviewers a free pass on their supposed "credibility".

Maybe we'd still be seeing those crazy, daringly experimental and interesting games had more peeps had the gonads to call them out on it.

This guy actually looks cool and probably plays games. Modern game 'journalists' are just woke activists who occasionally play games looking through their identity politics glasses to see what negativity they can bring to our hobby.
