Too Close to the Sun: On the level
Covenant
Master Chief Starts out with a Spartan Laser, and after you take out the anti-air Wraith there are some Banshees in the air. Take one out to get the achievement.

We're in for Some Chop: On the level
Tsavo Highway, after you rescue the Marines and take out the Wraith
, there are numerous Choppers coming at you. Fire a few rounds at a chopper, lay down a trip mine, and pray that he hits it. If he doesn't, just reload from a Checkpoint and try again.

Used Car Salesman: Whenever you see a Phantom, blow off it's front turret to get the achievement (Not all Phantoms will have 3 people in them though, I forgot which level I got it on).
 
so uh, matchmaking is broken for me

First it would just not find a game, now it doesn't even start looking for a game, it just stops when the countdown hits 0. I can back out and change playlists, but none of them work..
 
Is matchmaking up the wazoo right now? its taking a long time to validate gametypes on live and after the countdown nothing happens. Internet streams over my pc like it has done for more then a year and websites are loading up ok.

Can anyone do anything online right now? I keep lagging out and getting the "Cannot complete this process" error. I know I have an open NAT and was playing flawless games just last night.

Seems like others are effed too. I guess I'm glad I'm not the only one. Well, sad too cause it sucks that people can't play.
 
Now I'm just running through the game trying to find remaining terminals and skulls and seeing what little glitches I can dig up along the way. On The Convenant mission I managed to jump aboard the Elite ship in the cinematic before you hop in tank, moved around abit, hit a checkpoint while inside the ship and it proceeded to carry me off into the ether, dissapear, cause me to fall to my death, and return to the checkpoint to repeat the process. :D

Later, before crossing the lightbridge to give Truth his "how-ya-doings" I knocked the Arbitar off while still in my tank, shot at him, hauled ass inside and although he respawned inside his location arrow pointed elsewhere. I eventually hit a checkpoint and had two Arbitars fighting beside me. Pretty entertaining, although the clone dissapeared after the next cinematic.

Managed to get the Warthog into a few places it wasn't suppose to be, eventually hitting barriers that caused it to bounce back and do all sorts of fun physics.

Few games absorb me enough to love finding stuff like this...

To be fair, I'm not really looking for them, either. I've never been a big fan of scavenger hunts, and every time I play I'm more interested in fighting than poking around. (And Legendary is providing plenty of challenge as it is - solo. I'm sure I'll dig them up once I start going co-op in a week or two.)

Yeah but if you do explore youll most likely be rewarded:D

And Ghaleon thats fair enough if youre playing solo legendary you will have other things to worry about(like plasma beams penetrating your skull) than skulls.

Sweet!!!!! I just got 1000/1000 in the game and I didn't know that the last set of armor comes equiped with a katana on your back. That's pretty badass!!!!

Lost my gamesave and H3 profile. :( Went to log in and noticed my gamertag was missing from my 360. Recovering it right now. However, before that I Checked the memory area and it has nothing in the save files section on H3.

Does this mean I'm shit out of luck when it comes to the stuff I have unlocked, such as Helmets and all that?

The problem is that we are on each other's friends list. The system won't match us up.

I dunno. I do know that a bunch of people I know got banned for foreign achievements. They were doing a trick where if you have the same account with different language options you could get the same achievement twice. I don't know if this is in any way similar...

Not really : You're just telling Matchmaking to match people with the same language as you.

And then, the people with this language set all have the same goals : Get the achievements.

Nope. This is about setting the language to an Asian one, so matchmaking matches you with other friends using the same language. People are doing it, so they can get the Lone Wolves achievements easily.
