Here's my question:

Will there be a way to click on a medal on Bungie.net to see which other gamers have the same one? Maybe even a compare medals option like how you can compare achievements on the dashboard? I want to see if any of my friends have some of the same medals as I do and it'd be a whole lot easier to just click one button than having to find each page manually. That goes for every stat on the website actually. I'd like to be able to compare weapon kills, ratios, and all that stuff with one button click.

im gtting extremely frustrated with Forge, for some reason this 1 object that is critical for the game i made keeps disappearing and respawning on its own
That happens a lot to me too (patch?). It's the reason I gave up on my Last Resort ultimate beach fort (using all 16 giant crates).

Make sure you ask this on the b.net questions thread.

Anyone looking to try this out?

To get into achievement matches:
1. At the dashboard, go to the furthest tab on the right and select console settings.
2. Go down to Language and select the last Asian language.
3. Start Halo 3 and go to Matchmaking (3rd option from very top one).
4. Go to Ranked -> Lone Wolves.
5. Hit X and select 4th option.
6. Start matchmaking
(before the match begins, mention what achievements you need)

NOTES:
- most likely, you will not be paired with people on your friends list
- the achievements will appear as that Asian laguage on your console (everyone else will see it as English)

To change the achievements back into English:
1. Make sure language is back into English.
A. Go to the tab furthest on the right and select the first option.
B. Go down to the fourth option and hit A.
2. Sign out.
3. Select recover gamertag.
4. Enter all the info and accept.

I've been trying this for 40 minutes and no one is even on. If anyone wants to try and hop on now I'm on trying this.. In the matchmaking wait line. Would love to get a few of these hard ones knocked out.

I did but I am not getting a match at all. Even when everything is set back. I think Matchmaking it screwed up again.

Course the reason when trying Japanese could be due to me being a level 18. I should have just worked together with people when I started out. I had to be stubborn and insist on trying to get them myself. However they are just impossible unless you are working to set them up.

Well im level 1 and i dont think im sure what the last asian language is.. .Is it the last language overall? Thats the one i was trying.

I'll be on in 10. I've gotten 3 achievements so far using this.

Yeah, I'm on it now. I'm doing it now just to help out others that need help.

Can you verify which is the last asian language? Is it the last language on the list?

How do I know if I got credit for accessing a terminal? I'm at the first one and read all the way to where it says /fragment ends...

after it turns red then goes to another yellow hex, at that point you have got credit

When I load up the game and hit in lone wolves it shows me a graph and there is barely anyone playing around my level under this language. Blows. Also, I've left the game and reentered and lone wolves seem to still not be working for me. I actually think it might be down.

I'm still in line for lone wolves :/ Dunno why i can't enter with you guys.

Is it searching for players beyond your skill level?

the asian thing is a good idea, that way most of us will be paired together and can take turns getting each achievement

too bad i wont be home from work until 3am

any late night Gaf people want to try this later?

lone wolves seems to be down right now so I might be trying this around that time.

First rule of achievement whore club is you do not talk about achievement whore club.

For the lazy (myself included), can someone quote those instructions for this page? And just to clarify, there aren't any ramifications of doing this, right?

Anyone want to do some Legendary Coop? I need to do Floodgate to the end. Also I want to find the terminals in one sitting. Anyone want to breeze through it with me let me know.

Just your eternal soul, son. Just your eternal soul.

Since skate has been taking up a lot of my time recently I haven't had time to finish Halo 3, so I started playing it again. I'm now at the last mission (Or the next to last? I'm at the part where you're
in a belly/zerg/flood-thing saving Cortana
) and it's so painfully boring to play this level. I sincerely hate this level and I can't understand what they were thinking about at Bungies HQ when they made this the ending part of a game.

EDIT: Also; I think the EXP-system for online battles is retarded as well.

No. Because when Lord Hood addresses the issue, the Arbiter says
"Were it so easy." The Arbiter assumes that the Chief is still alive.
What did Hood say before that? You're leaving out the most important part to the Arbiter's response.

Yeah, exactly Lone Wolves and Rumble Pit are down for me - everything else works for me, which suck because I'm at the brink of getting Level 30, and wanted to get it before heading into Team Slayer...

But the whoop-ass that was delivered when MicVlaD invited me to his party for Team Slayer was more than worth it - good games guys!

Hood: "It's hard to believe he's really gone."

Arbiter: "Were it so easy."

It's not that hard to interpret people! :lol

After you find a skull, could you quit the level and still retain it, or do you have to finish the mission?

Gold you should see the achievement unlock right away, both you can save & quit and should now see them in Campaign Options.

Were it so easy to believe? He doesn't really believe? Or "Believe" the tagline? Believe it buddy, he's gone?

Exactly, it's not a reference to whether or not he's alive, but rather the difficulty of parting with him. Hood talks about what it was like for the Arbiter to be with the Chief in the end and to that, the Arbiter is basically stating that it was tough and difficult, of course reclaiming the line from the beginning of the game which found him at odds with the Chief.

The Arbiter believes the Chief to be dead. Everyone does at the end of Halo 3.

WTF are you talking about? When he says
"Were it so easy" he's saying "As if killing off Master Chief would be so easy." He's seen Chief survive extraordinary situations before--the goddamn entire Covenant legions couldn't stop him, and a mere portal explosion is the end of him? "Were it so easy," the Arbiter says. He knows (or at least believes) the Spartan is still alive somehow.

You're misinterpreting what the line means. It's not that hard to understand.

And as you said, at the beginning of the game, Johnson says
"C'mon now, we've got enough to worry about with you two killing each other." The Arbiter replies (with Chief's gun in his mandibles), "Were it so easy."
Get it yet? :lol

I agree.

Were it so easy, cuz god knows we tried! (we as in the covenant)

We're it so easy, I'd have done it myself....was what i interpreted it as also.

Doesn't make any sense at the end though (other than as a call back).
