They really need to add a medal/tracking for headshots online. They do it in campaign but to find out how many you have online you have to search through EVERY individual game you've played online. Need a running tracker for it (and a medal would be nice too).

Do you get any kind of...notification...when these are unlocked?
 
Im kinda new at playing Halo online (Ive played all the others but only single player). I was just curious on how to find online games. I want to play just a team deathmatch on the map that I want but when I played lastnight it just seemed to pick any random map and pick any random game type. Is there some kind of filter that can just give me the games I want?
 
Reminds me that I should check my armor options. I haven't looked since I started the game, and there should be a couple others unlocked now....I hope.

Sandtrap seems excellent btw, i wasn't sure about it before i tried it.
 
Shotty snipers match with a friend of mine. You can see him in the upper right, while I'm the one actually taking the shot. :D

Alright gents, just beat it on Heroic and I'm sure that wasn't the complete ending. I have to beat it on Legendary to see it all? Or did I have to stay after the Bungie thank you?

I just hate repetitive dark dungeon crawls into a deep orifice. Level 8, you literally crawl into an anal sphincter and do a colonoscopy.

Yup. You have the armor permutation and your emblem on during team matches. I use the fishbowl helmet which is frequently smashed in by opponents.
 
I am mad that none of my friends want to play the custom games. I tried getting a bunch to play rocket race and pirate ships but they end up saying it is dumb an leaving for matchmaking. If anyone is doing any cool custom games tonight my tag is JustinS.
 
Quick question about the Thunderstorm skull:

It says that with this skull turned on, all enemies are at their highest possible level. What does that mean? Does that mean, for instance, that every brute is a brute Hero with a gravity hammer? And every grunt has a fuel rod cannon? That kind of thing?

This is the first skull I found but I haven't had time to try it yet.
 
Has anyone gotten the "Marathon Man" achievement?

I found 6 of 7 while I was playing campaign, but when I went back and found the seventh it didn't give me the achievement. Do you have to complete the level for it to count or something?
 
Level Cortana felt like you are walking through her vag the whole time. Everything looked deliciously wet and slimy. The textures in this game is amazing.
 
Not sure if this is your problem, but I believe you do have to read the entire thing at the terminal to activate the achievement. I think you have to wait until it says "Fragment Ends" or something like that.

You have to wait some time on the last screen. Then some stuff will happen and it will //END FRAGMENT. Do that for all 7 and you get the achievement.
 
I just beat the 2nd level on Legendary. Each time I cry out in frustration it makes me realize how smart the enemies are. It is so much more fun in Legendary :-O
 
I was making a Duck Hunt in Forge on Narrows.

One dude spawns on the middle area. Everyone else spawns onto a man cannon. I want the "Ducks" to be gold color, and the sniper to be brown.

It's in my File Share if anyone wants to mess with it.
 
Got my Legendary today. To be clear, besides the helmet, stand, and cloth sack, all that comes with this are two DVD cases containing a total of 3 discs, correct? Game disc, Essentials 1, and Essentials 2?

Yeah, you have to press A on the Unite To Fight ad that sometimes appears on the Marketplace blade. (edit: beaten, but I seem to remember getting it on the big one, but I'm also tired so maybe that wasn't it)

Also, I just finished the game. The 8th mission was the worst level that I've played in a long time, but mostly because I couldn't hit a damn thing. I ended up just running through the level half the time, dying a lot, but finally got through it in one piece a little while ago.

That being said, easily my favorite Halo game in the trilogy, and the shortness of the game didn't bother me much. Aside from the aforementioned 8th mission, everything stuck out as quality and it was awesome. Thanks to Bungie for making a really wonderful game.
 
Can anybody help me to save screens to my hi res gallery? I have them in fileshare, but I cannot put them in my hi res gallery because I cannot see the link, is this a common problem?

There should be an option to add screen to gallery.
