My emblem went back to my old emblem even though I didn't even change it back plus my custom Spartan is not showing, it's just showing default and it's still not showing screenshots after like 10 hours...

Also, he doesn't have any achievements for campaign, so he's either played through it on easy or not at all. Interesting.Proelite said:If you check his gamertag, he hasn't played one game of halo 3 online. I am assuming QVT is him.

That's it. You saw it. The partgodhandiscen said:Ok So I beat the game on Heroic, but the last mission on Legendary. Do you only need the last mission on Legendary to watch the extended ending, or you have to do the whole game in Legendary? I have only watched the ending once so I dont know. Great ending though. Just when I thought Bungie dropped the ball, they come up with that stuff. Truly FULL CIRCLE. Also, whats the last planet that shows up at the ending, the one with the blue sun and that looks all techy and stuff?

Your guess is as good as mine. :lol (if you're asking about what it could mean)Dechaios said:Wh-what is that..?

Ok, I see then. So any guess as toCocopjojo said:No, no - just thepart with the planet. That one short scene. All of the stuff with the Chief is in the normal game.
Did you at least did it in Legendary? I mean, the game isnt designed for 4 players unless you use the skulls to unlock the Mythic difficulty and all that.Mark D said:Just beat the campaign with a couple of friends in 5 hours. The sky looks great in this game.
He took them using Halo 3's in-game camera - it's called "saved films."tahrikmili said:Wow, great pictures. How do you take them? Camera? If so, wow.
Also, I can't believe I started a thread called 'Will Gears of War steal Halo 3's thunder' a year ago. I feel like a total asstart right now, as I anxiously wait for my copy of Halo 3 to arrive.
You know how to watch video of campaign though right? Just pause the game while watching and press x, a little menu will pop up and the far left selection will be to take a screenshot.soco said:how do you take pictures in campaign mode? i looked for the option earlier and couldn't find it.
i'm only about half way in on heroic now, but i'm still amazed at how beautiful this is, especially in comparison to H1 & H2. there's so many tiny little details like the animated skys and such. so subtle i didn't notice some of the things when i first saw them.
Hoo yeah, I had totally forgot about that, but I am not sure though.Cocopjojo said:If you've read the books, people are thinking it's Onyx or perhaps the shield planet that the rest of the Spartans ended up inside at the end of Ghosts of Onyx. Or something entirely different.
What sort of sucks is that we probably won't know for a long time. Years, probably. But since they only added that scene at the end of Legendary, it's not a big deal - in fact, I like it. It's not a cliffhanger, per se, since it won't be seen by the majority of Halo players, it's just a tidbit for us hardcore fans.
The extras discs does a good job of explaining their animation philosophy where the gameplay takes precedence over animation. You might want to check it out, or not.Cold-Steel said:I think my only serious complaint is the animation. Seriously, it has barely improved.
Graphics are good, not great. The amount of things going on screen at one time is incredible.
Level design (single player) is good but sometimes it's easy to get lost. Thank god for the navigation system.
Weapons and vehicles are a big step above Halo 2. Vehicles, ESPECIALLY - WOW!
Animation though, leaves a lot to be desired. It makes the game "seem" like Halo 2 in HD.
godhandiscen said:Hoo yeah, I had totally forgot about that, but I am not sure though.Did the part of the ship that the Chief was on managed to make the jump through the space portal? If so, then it could be the shield planet. In fact, I assume it is since otherwise Cortana would know that a distress signal wouldnt be of any help.
Well truthfully, while the game looks great overall imo, the jaggies do start to spoil some of the visual quality. I think whatever tool that's used to take the image slightly compresses it and takes away some of the sharpness and jaggies with it.tahrikmili said:Wow, great pictures. How do you take them? Camera? I have never finished GoO, I just know basic details. I guess this is a good time to finish it.Cocopjojo said:No, if the Chief's half of the ship had made it through the portal, then he'd be back at Earth. That's why Cortana said it'd be years before anyone found them, since the signal has to travel from the edge of the galaxy (assuming it's being transmitted via slipspace or some other faster-than-light means). IIRC, didn't they step through a portal-type thing in Ghosts of Onyx to get to the shield planet? So, it'd make sense if it was near the Ark.

Both has the same disc I think. I have the cat helmet edition.Cold-Steel said:Thanks for mentioning that, Ill be sure to check it out.
Wait - is it on the LE or just Legendary?
I think that's my only gripe so far. Everything else - epic soundtrack, ambient effects, precision controls, sense of scale is just wonderful. Simply wonderful. Playing back an entire level through Theater Mode with the detached camera is one of the greatest things I've ever experienced in gaming. I'm truly impressed with Halo 3 in almost every respect.Cold-Steel said:Graphics are good, not great. The amount of things going on screen at one time is incredible.

Errrrrrrrrrrr They were films and books....... they were £7 or £10 each................... Halo 3 is £40-£50 so needs to sell 4-5times or more less to make the same volume of money.
Yeah okay, its gonna sell a lot of copies, and i have one of those copies coming (STUPID ROYAL MAIL) but come on Microsoft, i'm sure you can just say it sold 2m copies, an people would go WOW.
PLEASE don't insult me by comaring it to smething that costs no were near as much to see or buy and say it did better. Thats PS3 Sony type (We generated more revenue than any home console this month) style spin. That you just don't need
