No Worries.
But like I said, go through the game.
I mentioned I was burnt out by that point, so you may have a different opinion on that level.

The sound really is terrible. Like, I don't-want-to-play-it terrible. None of the ~10 reviews I read for the TV ever mentioned sound problems.
Monkey nuts. Time to dig around. The wife is going to just LOVE this one.
Try a headset if you have one of those. Cheaper than a Surround Sound set in any case.GhaleonEB said::eek

Glad I'm not the only one, although I've been wanting that sprint button ever since Gears of War. Kind of annoying when you happen to be in the open for a while after no one's in sight, and you can't move fast enough to hide behind cover when suddenly someone's pointing a laser at you.BuG said:The only thing I think the game is lacking is a sprint button after having played CoD4. I think it's more important to be able to sprint in Halo with the size of the maps. Sure there are vehicles but half the time some other dick has taken off with your transport honking at you as they leave and you're left trudging through pig shit for halfway of the map. If it would hurt the dynamics of a Halo firefight limit it to a couple of sprints per kill so you can still get to where you want to get at a speed you'd like to get there but you're not disrupting the Halo feel too much until you get another kill. I don't know if that would work but I'm missing a sprint button.I seem to remember a rumour back when Halo 2 was coming out about a sprint feature but that never came to fruition.

Hey, if that happens, don't just power off the box. If H3 (and H2, for that matter) detects you dying within a few seconds of a checkpoint something like 4-5 times in a row, it'll step back to an earlier checkpoint as a fallback.siamesedreamer said:Welp, these excessive check points finally fucked me.
I got one just as I began tumbling over a cliff in a Mongoose about 20 minutes into level 4. Never, ever had a bad checkpoint like that in the previous games.
I haven't had that happen in Halo 3, but it happened to me a few times in Halo 2. It was quite frustrating.siamesedreamer said:Welp, these excessive check points finally fucked me.

If you die several times in a row at a checkpoint - I think the number is five - within a few seconds of spawning the game will revert back to the checkpoint before that one.siamesedreamer said:Welp, these excessive check points finally fucked me.

What a disappointment. This is Microsoft's Juggernaut and we didn't even get something as beautiful as Bioshock or even close.

It's a complex system, and it does fail sometimes, but it tries to be graceful when it does.

I sure hope Bungies next 360 game looks a lot better than this. New engine please.

Anyone else getting this? Look at the top part of the top half. I get it when I spin around in circles.

That's exactly how I felt for pretty much the entire game. It seemed like Bungie collectively asked themselves "what do the fans want? Let's give it to them. The most awesome stuff we can think of, let's do it."Shogmaster said:Just got done playing through the Campaign. Fan service all the way at the end or what?

SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!
My Question was about the Coveant level at the end were Arbitor kills TRUTH. Why is the flood helping you!!???????
Cocopjojo said:They certainly don't want the rings to fire! The point of the Halos is to eradicate all life, thereby starving the Flood. And just like us, they don't want to die. That's why they temporarily agreed to help you stop Truth from firing the rings and killing everyone - humans, Flood, you name it.

Campaign spoilers:
Cortana's "there's two of us in here now... remember?" line brought tears to my eyes. As well as the Assault on the Control Room remake. And the terminal in the AotCR room? Nostalgia x20. There are so many tiny things that let you know that Bungie was totally thinking of the fans.

Don't highlight the second paragraph until you've watched after the credits.omg.kittens said:The ending confused me though... Spoilers:Why did they activate the Halo, and why didn't it wipe out all sentient life? Were they in the portal-world that was mentioned earlier in the game? That confused me, too.
