So you're saying that fighting a lone Brute (no equipment) is less fun than fighting a lone Elite (in H2, that is)? So the Brutes move less, but do they seem to take more damage than the H2 Elites or H2 Brutes?

That's the basic gist yes. That's just from one level though, so that may very well change as we go on. Also, there are exceptions, the brute chieftan I fought has ranked as high as any single enemy encounter in halo 1/2.

But you almost never will run into that "Single Brute" conflicts are much more likely to involve 3-4 brutes a half dozen grunts and 4-5 jackals. Brutes also almost always have some kind of equipment, so far, bubble shields and regenerators.

I guess I'm trying to say, the brutes are better team players, and they create situations and fights that are more intense than the previous halo games, without being the jump around like crazy fights of the elites.

go check it out, I played through on normal, because, and I'm ashamed to say it, I was getting worked on Heroic. I think it had something to do with not playing Halo since the beta. I'm working on a Heroic playthrough now.

I have beaten it, I just started another play through last night and for the life of me I couldn't figure out where to turn it on.

How many people were playing through together? I heard it gets much, much easier if there's more than a person playing through it.
