Buh? Carbonated? Where have you had carbonated cider?

The only time I've had cider with any sort of effervescence is either some nitwit has added soda water or 7up to perfectly good cider, or the cider has been stored away long enough to become "hard".

Perhaps a regional difference in preparation --- or just a Starbucks facy-pants way of serving cider?

Damnit too slow to catch it but I saw it. Its official, _dd_ has nightmares caused by "The Tit".
 
Been playing a LOT of halo 2 online in the last few days all thanks to waiting for halo 3 to get released (got my preorder phonecall today, realy got me buzzed) and I have to say playing halo 2 100% mic muted is bless, no people playing rap down my earpiece and no one swearing everytime they get a kill or get killed, its a totaly different game.

And saying that, BR spawning is the most broken halo thing ever, so glad the assault rifle is back in halo 3.

HA! that shit doesn't fly in New Orleans. I'd love to see someone try and spoil the game out here. It would be worth him doing it, to see what would happen. We had a full scale brawl for Madden release because someone felt he was cut in line. Something like 10 people got arrested for it.

I need Halo 3 music. It's 1/2 of the joy of these games for me. I've been listening to Halo CE and Halo 2 music for the past few days and the mood has been set for the third act. Have there been any music cues from the game in any of the videos released?

Marty's music is amazing, especially when using headphones. So much attention to detail. I wish the (2-CD) soundtrack was being released with the game...in fact, it should have been part of the Legendary edition.

Ummm... a grey area. Pure "Cider" is rarely carbonated, at least not naturally; the more trendy and mass market ones are, but if you were to go for a proper cider at a festival, you would most likely find it flat.

Real cider is not carbonated no, its called scrumpy. Drinking more than 2 pints leads to all manor of illnesses, going blind is the main one. The big selling ciders, Magners etc are carbonated but they really are crap and quite weak in terms of alcohol content. Cider is best left alone if you value your health!

The enemy AI and damage offerings are more intense, there are more snipers (which are easily managed and not nearly as frustrating as Halo 2's). It took me about an hour and there was a helluva lot of ammo conservation and weapon options. Once you 'get' how you should take your time and once you learn the finesse of taking out carbine/beam rifle Jackal out, its not bad at all. I think Frank mentioned where you have to position the center of your reticule before...right above their face-mounted site. I was knabbing carbine/beam rifle Jackals from a VERY long distance and with a BR easy.

Im loving the campaign so far. The banter from the enemies is better than ever. My two personal favorites so far..

Grunt - "He was my best friend!"

Marine - "Chief press the A button."
Other Marine - "Now thats just crazy!"

I was a BIG Code Red drinker back in the day...so I couldn't wait to try this out. I got a 12-pack and it really grew on me. I learned the trick to enjoying the soda is to not drink it with food or mix it with alcohol. It's best on it's own with no outside influences. So now I have a mini-fridge stocked FULL of beer and Game Fuel. There's a bottle of Jaeger in the little freezer compartment as well. All just waiting for Halo 3...

This may be the first time I've ever wanted a Weekend to hurry up and get over with. During NFL Football season even!
 
So far the worst thing about the game is remapping the reload button. I keep using all of my gadgets by hitting that by mistake. I still think the new layout is better....force of habit.

My thoughts exactly, I have to spend the whole weekend focussing on "quality time" with the gf to offset the lack of attention next week. Sounds good until you realise her idea of quality time is cleaning!

I'm keeping myself as busy as possible... Going to see Harry Potter 5 again with my mom, volunteering, partying both saturday and sunday night, seeing friends in between the gaps, etc.

It went away after about 10 games during the Beta for me. By then it was just peachy.

God knows how I had the balls to do it considering the Halo 3 fever in my household, but I told my girlfriend I wouldn't be seeing her parents with her this weekend.
