i thought once you have 100 friends you stop receiving them. reason i say this is because if i try to send one to someone with a full list, it says the list is full and i cant send one. :lol

no im buying from the store.

what i am saying is that it doesnt matter if you payed for the thing already, youre not getting it til the 25th regardless of you paying for shipping, etc.

what the hell?

whatever happened to "couldn't beat it more than twice in the course of 48 hours" that they told the reviewing press that they (kotaku) told us? The story mode should have been at least 15 hours.

I guess on legendary we will get around 12.

Either way... 4 player co op. Meta Game. Forge. Multiplayer.

and ~8 hours is more feasible to beat with your friends.
 
I don't know why this should be spoilered, but for the die-hard fans, I'll do so anyway.

Questions about saved films:

There are a lot of things about saved films that I really don't understand, yet. I'm sure Bungie will post a tut in the upcoming days, but right now I don't know how to record a small clip from campaign. I can do it in multiplayer, but in a campaign film the option is greyed out. Also, I haven't figured out how to fast forward to later on in the film, without just manually holding down the fast forward button. And in campaign films that are thirty minutes long, it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get to parts later on in the film.

Also, some films have a little star next to them. I wonder what that means?

I just did the BADDEST thing ever. The camera (and Monitor mode) have a sprint-type feature, where you can zip around really quickly. And the zoom function is AMAZING. You just have to see it to understand. Anyway, I moved backwards really quickly, while at the same time zooming in and I got that freakin' Hitchcock camera technique (like in LotR: Fellowship when Frodo looks at the path right before the Black Riders come riding down it). It was absolutely astonishing. Machinima will never be the same, due to saved films. Bungie rox. The end.

Getting outside of levels (one level name and one multiplayer name used):

Also, I've already gotten outside of the some of the levels. Every part I've found though, in campaign and multiplayer, you can go places you're not supposed to, but the invisible walls still exist and they keep you from going on top of buildings and so forth. so there are barriers. In campaign mode, I used some jumping to get outside of Crow's Nest and it does that crazy thing where... when there's no geometry or textures to look at, it, like... copies whatever was previously in that place and pastes it over and over again... gah, I can't explain it. It's very, very odd. It sort of turns my stomach. You're literally looking into nothing. And I got behind the fence inside the building in Last Resort. You can't go very far, though due to the invisible walls. And of course, none of it is useful in Matchmaking, since you have to be in Monitor mode (to do it how I did it).

I gave my money to the merchant, they don't own that item anymore, I do. Merchant shouldn't be able to take my money, and tell me when I can have it.

I guess the trick for you will be to get 100 people that dont bug you with messages and invites all day while you're trying to play.

Eh whatever, I preordered my LE at Gamestop but if I have a chance to get the game even a weekend early then it's worth it. If it doesn't get delivered until the 25th then I'll just tell FedEx to send it back to Newegg, get my money back and I'll already have my LE anyway. I'm hoping that I get it tomorrow but if I don't, then I'm in the same boat I was in before, nothing worse.
 
I wouldn't be surprised at all if they were delivered early, but my launch 360 was shipped early and it arrived on launch day with a giant sticker that said do not deliver until november whatever

i got my next day delivery fee refunded. just contact newegg and see what they say

Jesus Christ, this thread is a never ending juggernaut that's just continues to pick up steam. It's going to be out of control once the actual game is released.

Oh absolutely, my file share will have stuff from Sierra 117 and that's it, but after the nine millionth FR from something like xX WhyteHype Xx -- the king's justice is wanted!

I don't know if it will retroactively update the Games List when you've been playing offline, that doesn't seem like it would make sense, but anything you play on line now you'll be able to look at on Bungie.net this weekend!

You can place the order and have it rushed ($2.99) w/ overnight shipping. If they don't ship it the same day they will refund the rush fee and you can just cancel the order.

That's a little harsh, man. It's not like they're doing it to be mean or to bother you. Seriously. They're doing it because they like you. I sent you a friend request a while back, and didn't think anything of it when you didn't accept - you had your reasons, it's no big deal. But to want to be mean to folks for just sending a friend request? : /

I also sent Frank one and he accepted. Now we're friends and we get coffee every day and I let him borrow my Legos and sometimes my mom lets me spend the night at his house and we watch Beast Wars all night.

I'm not arguing, I'm trying to find a valid reason as to how/why they can do it. If I get it tomorrow, great, if not, oh well. I just figure if a website says something is In Stock, and has next day shipping, then they should be held to it is all.

That's why you would have to alert whatever company you bought the product from that you received the goods after the allotted time in order to get the refund, just like any regular day for any regular package. Just because it's Halo doesn't mean the rules for shipping change and they can take advantage of you.

The ones I recognize from GAF are usually the only random folks I accept, you SHOULD HAVE made the cut. I can't play with Legos, I'm not smart enough, need DUPLOS.

well its likely they just didnt change the next day shipping option and will refund everyone their money. otherwise, if this isnt true, you can expect your game tomorrow.

i just think that any package,regardless of delivery speed/status, will get held til the 25th.

whatever, this newegg discussion needs to end.
