Edit: I would do it, but all my buddies that would normally help out are a 2 hr drive away.

It's completely broken online once you get to a reasonable level of play. The fact that Halo 2's netcode means all clients end up hitting nothing but air when they think they're hitting other players gives the host an insane advantage, when coupled with the map's very open nature and abundant BR ammo.

Yeah I've noticed that, only reason I don't care for it. I loved it when I was a low rank in Slayer, but now I hate it at the higher ranks. It's all about map control though, get in the right spots and kill them as they spawn and you win.

EDIT: since my return to playing Halo 2 on live.... is it more common now for peopel to quit? I don't ever quit games, and playing ranked used to be the best way to avoid it, but now... it seems like if you start destroying the other team they quit.

spent the weekend replaying halo 2 sp co op with a friend
for some reason i remembered the game being much worse than it was..still not near my love for Halo CE, but was definitely enjoyable

Woah! The Halo 3 Ad just aired here - I never thought I'd see it being in the UK. Sure, it was on some obscure cable channel, but it's something. Had the date on the last screen changed from 9 25 07 to 26 9 07 thanks to our differing release day and date format.
