Ah shit, just remembered I'm working late tonight so I may not make any customs games.
So I humbly ask that people give my map another shot (please?
). I made a few small changes and below is a short walkthrough of the map so people won't get confused.
If you play CTF, I believe it'll work better with low reset (not return) times like 10 seconds. 30 seconds is way too long.

This is where the red team spawns.
The teleporter in the back is non-essential and is only for sniping.
The top is open for this area so if spawn killing becomes a problem, I'll remedy it later on.
Make your way to this teleporter to progress to the objective/flag. It's in the middle of the crypt.
This is where you emerge in the middle area. Note the double slots to help you remember it links to the crypt.

Continue past it for the objective.
This is where you need to go. Note the single slot. 1 for up, 2 for down.
This is where you emerge in the top area. When you have buddies with you, you can use the hog to get to the objective faster...

Both Exterm and Killtac achievements are accessible on non-ranked playlists; they simply need mythic maps.

Eh, bit if a sudden and random event happening here. I've just fired up Halo 3, but i'm getting kicked out of the game lobby as soon as it displays all gamertags and starts loading up maps.
I've been having major XBOX issues over the last few days, and just installed it to my HDD. I'm slightly concerned as my 360 is on it's way out, and has been freezing, or reporting odd errors, and thus kicking me out of games. How does one know when one is a victim of the Banhammer?!?!

Well, I have a new version of Barracks. I changed the positions of the Overshield and Active Camo, and put the Rocket Launcher on the bridge, and put the Bubble Shield where the Rockets were.

Barracks Open closes off the area where the Sniper usually spawns on Rats Nest(or the "big brown oval"), adds another crate so that it's not just two unmovable generators up there, and adds the teleporters back in. The same changes in Barracks is applied for Barracks Open, except the Brute Shots were moved to let the Sender Nodes in the bases.

So, are GAFCustoms happening tonight?
I have a party of 5 willing participants if so. I'm getting 'The Disc is unreadable errors' constantly, kicking me from Matchmaking as soon as it's loading the map. I think Custom Games would be easier, as I can just rejoin.
So, basically, like a beggar, i'm on my knees pleading for some decent Custom action and GAFCustoms is probably as good as it gets!

I finished my map. It's called Drydock, and it was inspired by the Halo 2 map Waterworks so it is best for objective games with big teams. It is NOT a remake of Waterworks. There's not enough room for that so I just tried to make a map that would play roughly like Waterworks did. Hopefully we can test it out in customs tonight.
Red Base:
The bases are symmetrical. Each base has this loadout:
3 Battle Rifles
1 Needler
1 Missile Pod
1 Rocket Launcher
2 Frag Grenades
2 Plasma Grenades
2 Mongeese
1 Warthog
1 Banshee
1 Chopper
In addition, there is a Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, and Carbine in front of each base.

There are 2 infantry paths through the main structure with a Battle Rifle at each entrance for a total of 4 Battle Rifles in the middle structure. A Spartan Laser has replaced the Sword in the middle and there is a Brute Shot at each side entrance to the structure:

So it looks like driving to Seattle would mean spending more time driving and will cost more than I anticipated. I've been wanting to go on a cross-country road trip but it just doesn't seem like this is the right time to do it considering I'd have a time limit and can't leave until Wednesday afternoon anyway. Driving to Boston for PAX next year instead would be much more feasible.
That said, Dual made the hotel reservation for Friday through Sunday and is staying with a friend in Seattle for Thursday night. I don't want to fly to Seattle Friday morning and go straight to PAX from the airport because I'll have my luggage and everything still on me. If anyone has a place for me to stay for just Thursday night it would really help me out.
Need to find a place for Thursday night pretty quick since plane tickets will start to get more expensive soon.

Customs were fun. Just to let everyone know, I'm not usually so bad (Moosetwik). My grenades were disappearing and rockets weren't launching, I was laggy as fuck.
I went to speedtest after I left, and it turns out I was shaped the entire time. If I go over my 5-day data limit (which is 2GB, for 5 days) my ISP shapes my upload speed... and only my upload speed for some reason, not my download.
And yes, that is my normal download speed.

Not a single bit of hate mail or negative comments on the map surprisingly, just a lot of FRs.
Out of about 50 game of the 4th I've still only played that one match on my map though. And still haven't seen Entrenched in BTB.
Played Neosho a few times and got a better impression of it. Unfortunately the 4 times I played it were pretty unfair and we'd win in not mere minutes. Still seems like it'd be really easy to get to one's base and harder to keep them out of it. Woulda really like a balanced match on it. Had fun with it though.
Since Ber Ber seems to be a relative hit, I'd decided to dump more love into it and see what I could pull out of the budget. I've got lights and even some extra cover in this newest version as well as narrowing the rocket arch so that it won't be as easy to camp and jumping from it to the bases and vice versa is harder. Hopefully that pushes more content to the floor of the map. Also tweaked the spawns as some were too out in the open and occasionally resulted in spawn kills.
I'mma need 3 new films so if anyone's up for that, I need to get 10 people together to do this. I'll probably have to wait for a GAF customs or 2.
