So I finally got all the map packs. How do I go about playing with you GAFers? Be warned, I suck even though I've been playing since the game came out. :lol
 
I really liked the Alpha Site Q&A. Map sounds sweet.
I also found this really funny:

I've bought some Halo soundtrack songs, but the ODST soundtrack sounds awesome enough to buy the full disc.

Also, 2 of us were involved in one of the best uses of Bubble Shields ever:

I threw one over a Warthog (in the enemy base..) and we both ran towards it, getting inside just in time to be greeted by a hail of rockets:

In the end, we managed to drive away from them all as they reloaded.

Here's a video of the whole Bubble Shield thing. In all fairness, we'd have been dead straight away if we were playing good people :lol

I'm still amazed at how well that plan went for us, I need to go watch that game just to see how many rockets were fired at us :lol .

Used up my last three render minutes for the month. (Anytime those extra minute packs want to go online is fine with me....)

From 40-45 to 45-49 to victory, on Bungie Day (with Dax). I took my left hand off the controller while juggling weapons there because my hand was too sweaty, thus the choke.

One of my finer rocket strikes (two, actually). I think they were both very surprised.

Clearing the deck with a Ghost. I did a picture post on this one. Still one of my favorite moments (even if choked at the end and forgot to detach the camera for a better view...)
 
I was playing with a friend on the 7 on 7th playlist and he got to 7 EXP but didn't unlock the achievement, any ideas why?

You have to be in the playlist with 7EXP.

Just tell him to start a 7on7 search in that playlist and he'll get it. Also, the achievements in Halo 3 lag like crazy for some reason.
 
We stayed there in the matchmaking lobby for a couple minutes waiting for it to pop up, then we backed up to the main menu and reentered the playlist, still nothing. We then played another match, but lost, and then he had to leave cause it was late for him. Oh well.

Yeah, didn't even think about that. It's totally going to undermine the entire medal chest. People will be getting kill chains and exterminations like never before. That really sucks.
 
I still love how a lot of people think that there will be an explosion of Grifball generals after this.

I'm still wondering how many came out of ranked living dead.
 
Shishka should bring back the Hardcore category, and have the permanent ranked Griffball playlist be the only thing on it.

Just for the threads on the MLG forums.

I don't care about the ranked medals/stats stuff, though. The "General 50" thing will be funny stuff, though.

Thanks for that, I'd neglected to save it back in the day. As an aside to the clip above, when I'm half way over the man canon, a Warthog flies under me. A second later there's a *whump* and a scream as the guy behind me gets pasted. :lol

My stat list is a thing of beauty.

I don't mind Ranked Grifball honestly as-long as the medals and kills/deaths obtained in Grifball should not count. Bungie can you make this happen?
 
Played a couple games on Ber Ber Creek yesterday. Not a perfect map, but good enough to make me remember why I liked Battle Creek. I'm sure the spacing is just a resource issue if anything.

Oh, and Neosho still sucks...hard.

It was fun playing with both Butane and Mini Waz yesterday on their own maps. :lol

So if we are doing customs...
and I don't see a prowler in any maps we play and there was an option to place one in forge, the map automatically sucks.
