Wu, I don't think you really "get" matchmaking. Honestly, this was one of the most unintelligent posts I think I've ever read, especially coming from someone who sits on such a high horse. Essentially you're justifying terrible spawns that place one team with the power weapons at the highest point on the map by saying that I'll spawn as that team roughly 50% of the time that I play that map? Really? You think that this is ok?
As FunkyMunkey so wonderfully articulated, the spawns on Blackout are completely based on luck, and whoever controls BR in the beginning of the game can usually jump out to an early lead and perhaps even secure a possible win early on. And this is based on nothing but luck of the spawn. The other team is left with a sniper and maybe a shotgun (although being in the center of the map, that weapon is essentially up for grabs as well). It would take a particularly adept sniper to take down the BR guy or sword guy off of BR3 (I'm guessing that nobody who plays at your level would be able to do this).
Oh and by the way, these "morons" that I'm talking about are not "bad kids" as Juices was talking about. I'm talking about anyone who is dumb enough not to understand that getting to the high point of a map is the easiest way to win. I would like to think that most people understand the concept of "high ground = larger line of sight = higher ability to make shots," but I don't think I can be so lucky.
So, returning to my example, it is much easier for the team up on BR3 to take control of the game. I don't care if I get the spawn half the time. It's unfair. I'm all for equality and Blackout's default spawns in TS (especially ARs) have none of it. If I had it my way, I would spawn one team at top lift and the other in the side of library closest to top middle. This would allow for each team to fight for control of the tower and would pretty much secure a sword for one team and a shotgun for the other. But then again I would also litter the map with more BRs, something which a player of your caliber may not understand.
And I don't really understand what your personal problem is with me. You've said in the past that you don't like me (why? because I see flaws in the game and am vocal about them because they affect my experience of the game? I am a Halo player, too. Just because I don't immediately run to the center of the map with an AR blaring doesn't mean I can't play MY way). And I thought old people were supposed to be more understanding and less judgmental considering their wisdom and ... old age. And honestly, I'm beginning to strongly dislike you too. You're a grumpy, senile old badger who speaks condescendingly towards people with different viewpoints than your own. I bet you voted Republican.
