Yea its so much fun.

Me Eazy Penguins and Meddle grabbed it a few days ago. First try we got up to killing Guilty Spark? and um then Meddles friend internet dropped dead so we had to start all over. That was awful. Ghost part was awesome we kept getting too seperated and someone would fall off the map made for some very hilarious moments. Probably the best achievement for Halo 3 IMO.

Took us 49 minutes the second time.

and I just shit on kids, and that was fun.

It might be just me but has anyone noticed that the amount of cheating has increased A LOT. I just got cheated in MLG twice in a row, back to back.

This is the first match. Everyone was just red bar the entire time.

Have you been playing Halo 3 since launch?

Personally, I don't feel that way. I played Halo 2 almost daily for 2 and half years until I had my fill. I was bored with Halo 3 after six months. I still get into the multiplayer again for a few weeks at a time but then I get bored again (like right now).

I'm not really hyped for ODST either. Like I said a while back it's more of the same with some tweaks. I really want to see their new IP though.

Yea I have been playing since launch. I played Halo 2 since launch until Halo 3 came out. Even during the Halo 3 beta, I still played mainly Halo 2. I guess I'm easily entertained, haha.

It's been a while since I've played Halo: CE so I decided to play some of it today since I had it from Xbox Originals on my HDD.

Man, this game is still SO good. Fighting Elites is so awesome, with each encouter seperating itself from the rest.

The animations for each weapon, especially meleeing with the Pistol and Sniper is awesome to witness. Each animation unique in its own way.

Grenades were also done right in CE. I hope Bungie goes back to CE's grenade mechanics for Reach as well as building up more elaborate animations for shooting, reloading and meleeing (albiet I don't want them to go overboard like Killzone 2 where it's more animating than shooting).

I think I'll finally be able to beat CE's campaign for the first time. :P
 
What the hell? Render to video beta goes wide and people are still just bitching about problems that are over a year old!? Post videos, people!

In the time it took me to select render on five clips, check this thread to find a shocking lack of lolz and awesome clips, all of mine rendered out. So here you go, my first round of clearing out the archives. The first clip aside, I went with a Warthog theme.

Up and Down | Fun with an air vent, a plasma grenade and a power drain on Sandtrap.

Hog Hunt | [Elmer Fud voice] I'm Warthog hunting. [/Elmer Fud voice] This 'hog and me, we do the dance of the hunter and hunted. Not sure which is which.

Killing Hogs | My favorite activity on Rat's Nest is prowling the corridors for Warthogs to stick. And steal. Even better when I get to do both.

Hog Wild | A few standard 'hog kills (I'm driving), and then an epic WTF moment. I've watched this a million times and I still can't figure out how we both survived.

Hog Revenge | One of those really frustrating moments where I miss a dying plasma toss by inches - literally! [/Biden] - and lay there wishing for one last chance. Oh, hello there.

Got like, forty more clips to go. Make those minutes rain, Wolf! :D

This probably brings a wrap to my epic picture posts. Though I might break one out now and again for the more intricate stories that require extra love. Saved films. Good shit.

Some nights I do great, others I'm terrible. A lot of the time I'm right in the middle of the pack. I do play a lot of BTB, though. So you'd think I'd be great.

In general, I'm better strategically than tactically. Ask the other GAFers how many flags I tend to grab, versus how often I win BR shootouts. :D

Here I was about to say I fall in line with Ghaleon where I only played about 500 games of Halo 2 and find Halo 3 to be a much better experience as a whole. But now I see you've played over 5k games of Halo 3 so I have a reassess what I call "play a lot."

Can't say I agree with you about my anticipation for ODST. It's no main release but it's definitely one of my most anticipated games on the horizon. That said, I wholeheartedly agree that I want to see the new IP. I've seen Halo, I've played Halo, bring on the new IPs subungual Hematoma!

Well since everyone is limited to minutes and bungiedipshitpoints I finally purchased the Blackmagic Intensity Pro I'll have it set up in a few days most likely unless shit won't work.

I'll gladly cap your shit just send me the filelink and how you want it captured and if I like you I'll have it pretty quick I imagine...capturing doesn't seem to hard.

I played against your cousin yesterday in SWAT. He's pretty damn good.

Eazy would be proud: Overkill Extermination with chopper, splatters only. Also pulled a Running Riot.

Who needs a scope? Part 1: My first no scope on a guy going off the lift on Narrows. I heard the cannon, quickly turned to my left and took the shot.

Just missed the Killtac!: Overkill on MLG-tards who all decided to go up the same lift on Construct. Almost had the Killtac.

Who needs a scope? Part 2: Another no scope on a guy going over the lift on Narrows from top mid. Bladed and Juices were on their side of the map, and having just pulled the flag, our enemies all started going off the lift to try and stop the cap. This is the result.

That's all I've got for now.

Oh my god. Seriously, Bungie, fix this shit. That's so fucking inaccurate. The bullets aren't coming out of my freakin' BR right. No wonder I always can't seem to 4-shot MLG-tards or kill ANY Elites when I SHOOT THEM IN THE HEAD SIX TIMES.

We shouldn't be able to look at anything outside of first person perspective if this is the best Bungie can do with a video feature. I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but how can you not make it so the video shows the bullets coming out of my fucking BR correctly?

My 11,000 games of Halo 2 (plus there's another 4,000 games played on some other gamertags) don't compare to my Halo 3 figures at all (5338 matchmaking games). :lol

I hope no one gets the wrong impression; I still that ODST looks like its going to be a fun, solid game. I just crave something new from Bungie as I'm a little tired of the Halo franchise. I hope Halo: Reach is not another FPS retread with model swaps and instead is a different kind of FPS with impressive new tech and visuals. If so, I would then be interested. But right now I choose to harbor a 'wait and see' attitude.

Not my style, and that would have been being a jerk. Besides, he was the only guy on the other team after our team pulled ahead by a certain amount and he was being a good sport by deciding to finish the game. In cases where there's only one guy left on the other team, I just stop playing or don't kill him.

As you can see, though, I did go over to inspect what the fuck had just happened.
 
I'm interested in this here render to video thingy. I understand that I have to have Bungie Pro in order to gain access to the Beta.

Is there any way to add Bungie Pro thru the computer or must I do it through my Xbox?

Have you bought the Mythic Maps? Bungie Pro is included when you get them. Also, I don't know that getting it now would get you immediate access to the Render to Video Beta. It would more than likely not happen till a possible 3rd wave ... if there is even going to be a 3rd wave.

EDIT: Say, when the Render to Video is past the beta phase... If you don't have Bungie Pro, I'm assuming you get no render minutes and won't be able to render any videos from any file share?

Also, ifI get more render minutes, I probably won't be using them, so give me a link and I'll render it based on what format you want and how many minutes I have. I'll let everyone know if I get any more...

Yup I did. My file share has 24 items, so I have it, but when I click on the render to video option, I get denied:

They didn't specify, but if I had to guess I would imagine that minutes will not be as plentiful this time since more people now have access to it. However, they might try and overload it to see what the break point is.
