Tashi0106 said:lol that's funny. Walshy is a player/coach. The guy does it all.
Normally I'd agree with you, but he played damn well tonight. In many of the games against Str8 Rippin, he had the best K/D ratio on his team, which is saying something considering that Neighbor and Roy are both on Instinct.BakedPigeon said:Sounds like you want to make out with him or something.
Walshy is not very good compared to alot of other pros.
Congratulations on graduation? High school or college?Sai-kun said:I got my NAT open again D: If there's a spot...send me an invite X) I promise I'll play and not be distracted by other games and stuff!

Vehicles landing on me from out of nowhere was the theme of the night. On Entrenched I see a Warthog getting parked on the ramp leading to thief flag. I step off and to the side, look up, and see the rear axle descending upon me. Crunch.Stormtrooper30 said:I mainly spent my time cruising in the warthog and accidentally killing Ghaleon (like, seriously. I betrayed Ghaleon and Tashi like 4-5 times tonight). Invisible hammer sneaking on Sai was awesome... until Cocop gave away my position.
idoprime said:What was the name of that 1 map we played which was clearly meant for 1 sided gametypes. Now that was an awesome match.
I got a Tripple Kill with a Sentinal Beam during that match. Someone needs to BungieTube it.![]()
Tashi0106 said:lol that was so ridiculous! I was getting hit by that sentinel beam from behind and I didn't know what the fuck it was. Hahaha
Also, here are a some very short clips from tonight. 1 is from customs and the other 2 are from some GAF match making we did after GAF customs. Sorry for no audio, Windows Movie Maker is the fucking worst.

Also at during the last clip I say, "Juices, wanna see some sick spawn killing?" Then it happens, achievement unlocked. I unlocked 3 from Mythic tonight lol.

And FUCK that one sided game, I was getting so angry I didn't understnad how we were getting owned so bad.

lol yea fuck that game. I was trying so hard that game and couldn't figure out why we were getting wrecked so badly lol.

What do you use for capturing?
:lol :lol
That is what happens when right at the start you give someone a triple kill with a damn Sentinal Beam.
Dazzle 90 eh. 1 thing I have noticed is that its capturing at non widescreen format. Is that its limit or just how you have it setup? (on your end)Tashi0106 said:Dazzle 90...compliments of Juices![]()
lol, I still can't believe that happened. I was watching that thing shoot and it just looked so weird to me. :lol

Tashi0106 said:I've tried to capture in widescreen, I've tried converting the video the widescreen in multiple video editing programs. I can't get the fuckin thing to go widescreen on youtube. I'm convinced that it's the card itself. Also, it only works with XP which is why Juices parted with it. I'm sure there are new ones that support widescreen and all of that crazy new technology lol.
Quoting this from the last page because I feel like it got missed. Is no-one else concerned about this?Willeth said:I'm a little worried that ODSTs aren't going to be as down-to-earth as I originally thought. In one of the demos, an ODST in Firefight picks up a turret and walk around with it, faster than the Chief can. This doesn't make much sense to me. These guys don't have the augmented armour and everything. They're military. Elite military, sure, but still just normal dudes.
No. It sounds fun.Willeth said:Quoting this from the last page because I feel like it got missed. Is no-one else concerned about this?

chase said:Just want to jump in here to say that suspension of disbelief requires consistency. It's easy to swallow the big fish providing all the little ones stay in line. That a marine possesses the strength to lift a turret the size of himself while presumably being unable to perform similar feats of brute force wreaks havoc on internal consistency.
That said, I'm not bothered about it in this case at all.
Mr Vociferous said:Dude, you're majoring on a minor here. No havoc has been wrought. If people are really going to get hung up on lifting a turret, I'm going to get on the phone with Bungie right now and tell them they should pull that feature from the game. In its place, I think a note should pop-up when you try to grab a turret telling everyone who wanted to have fun with it that people on a message board thought this would wreak havoc on the game's internal consistency.
As a game developer you have to weigh what's fun against what's not. There are a thousand different ways to explain why an ODST can lift this turret from a fictional standpoint, and they're a hell of a lot easier for me to come up with then, say why humans are still using projectile-based weaponry 500 years from now, the significant improbability of there being a large number of habitable planets in our galaxy or the fact that all of the aliens are bi-peds and speak in a manner which we can easily communicate. Some things are done because they're cool and fun - not necessarily because they make complete sense. I think Halo does a grand job of trying to patch things together in a way which is believable and enjoyable, but I think getting hung up on small, incremental things like turret carrying is really ridiculous. My apologies to those who think it's reasonable to do so.

I was so mad whren that happened. I landed on the damn flag cap point. Instead of me scoring, I get asploded by blue death (again) and Five gets the cap. He almost did it again on my second cap that game.Louis Wu said:Because it made me lol:

Stormtrooper30 said:Haha, It took me awhile to catch up with you every time because the hammer made me slower. I'm not sure how Cocop saw me (or knew I had a hammer, for that matter) but it was too late for Sai. I checked the time everytime I got the camo, so I picked it up like 6 times that game. It was epic.Rockets + Invis = awesome

Why dost thou tease me?!?
I have to agree. Played it twice yesterday (slayer and multi flag) and it didn't feel right to me. The center layout had a very poor setup for cover and it felt like I was hiding more than playing whenever I tried to push up. There is virtually no incentive to leave your base as map control is virtually impossible. During the end of a less evenly matched game we were able to get our team on top of their base and at that point they may as well have set their controllers down.GhaleonEB said:Wastelands is really not a very good map.
