I don't think I've ever seen a day go buy where there hasn't been at least a page worth's of posts. After jonesing for Halo the week after my 360 broke and subsequently clarifying my address yet receiving another email looking for clarification. I haven't even bothered calling them back. I think the newness of the Mythic maps wore off completely for me and I don't really feel like playing Halo (only game I've really been playing for the last few months).

I feel the same way, which is why I've taken a break from the game for a while. A nice long break from the game felt pretty good and I'm ready to get back into it for the summer.

You've been looking for an excuse to use the KevinRo college post, haven't you? :P

I sensed the thread needed a jump start so I juiced up my post a bit. Can't say it didn't work. :D

But really, I don't miss the 360 as much as I thought I would.

Yeah, it's up. People are getting the map 'Punishment' in MM.

Don't know why we have to play the waiting game for these MM updates. When it's about to go live, Shish, make a Bungie Blog post. Not that hard.

Another Bungie celebrity among us, eh? It makes me wonder how many more lurk this thread.

And good cake is good cake. I just hope the poor sap had the skills for the job he/she applied for. It would suck if he/she had gone through the trouble of making such an awesome treat and then did not land the job. :(

OT: Map remodeling. Train Station is getting one. I'm starting over from scratch yet again using the infinite budget so I can truly make the map the way I wanted it to be. The only real changes you are probably going to see however is more rooftops, a more "true-to-form" defensive base, and if I'm lucky a working Scorpion launcher.

I've been doing some research on how to use some of the advanced techniques in Forge, and you will see some of that applied to the map for the better.

I need feedback from you guys, from those who actually played on it, on how you would make the map better.
 
Oddball on Blackout, whether its Team Objectives or Double Team, is horrible. Actually, many Double matches for Oddball is awful, because if my teammate is holding the ball in the lift, for instance, I shouldn't spawn in the Library while the others are coming from Sniper tower or BR tower. It's as bad on The Pit because the map is fairly large for 2v2 (and not to mention no change of weapon starts, weapons on map, etc. -- sigh!)..

I think I did play this a couple nights ago in the GAF customs. I liked it, but as I said before in a post, once a team controls the Wraith and Sniper, the offensive team can get jammed and cornered pretty badly. If did plan on making it clean, and more "realistic", it would definitely work better. Not sure what I would recommend though. It's your map and your ideas may be based off a complete remake and not an inspired type.

I'm planning on making another map on the main floor in Sandbox. I hope to make it a 1-CTF, 1 Bomb, and Team King type of map. Wish I can get something for Access because the spawn questions and the timers on the weapons are bugging me. :P

Well it is more along the lines of an inspired version because there are just some things about the map you can't simply remake as you can tell how I improvised the Warthog's longer path utilizing the actual map itself. I've also included equipment in my latest version (which had a power drainer, a trip mine, as well as others) and even a few Plasma Pistols, my guess is that they weren't as easily noticeable as I had hoped. Maybe I should add a Missle Pod?

Well, if you're going to go with the budget glitch, try to enclose the area, tighten up some open spots (if any) on blocks, and assure yourself of multiple ways to capture the flag or at least able to get into the close proximity. I wonder if, at all, you would be able to make the flag room an actual small building. Just throwing some ideas out there!

It was a memorable post and NeoGAF's post search function is a powerful tool provided you remember you posted, in what thread, and maybe a keyword or two (in this case the phrase "fall in and out of love" was so ridiculous it's been branded in my brain). Google images is also a decent method of finding funny pictures, I avoid places like 4chan.

That said, this post is forgettable, you've gotta bring a lot more to the table if I'm expected to remember a post of yours. I'm not saying you're not good at writing outlandish things, off the top of my head you've got 2, the one previously brought up and the other saying Bungie should pay MS to release DLC. Two's pretty good, some people post dumb shit all the time yet rarely spit out anything memorable. I mean Dax has significantly more posts than you yet I can only remember the one about his Ritalin and the doorknob exploration. Your batshit crazy post to normal post ratio is impressively high.


And the Killzone thread has significantly more views than this one and a lot less posts, not the other way around. Presonally I've almost given up on the game because Guerilla hasn't done shit about all its problems, it's a shame too because it had a lot of potential.

the 4chan referrence was suppsoed to be a joke but yeah back to the DLC. it makes prefrecly good sense. i already explained why my stance was good and how bungie loses money when they relased the dlc early for halo2. and my other post i stand by too, i don't play this game at all yet you're all on it religously. do something with your life.

On another note did anyone read my stuff about a visual flag on cheaters and boosters? I would totally like an ass face to be used as an armour permutation in halo4. bungie make it happen.
