Yeah, sounds that way. It's a shame we won't get any actual look at the game until a few months before it comes out. Although, I'd like to be proven wrong.

Again, remember that we didn't see the Halo 3 campaign until the E3 before it came out. (Nor Halo 2's until a few months before release, for that matter.) And since ODST is basically a new campaign....par for the course.

Does that count the fake campaign they showed at E3 2003?

Cones are at the bottom of my list, just above Prowler. On the other hand, I do have 21 flamethrower kills, almost definitely all from Construct. Coming up out of the purples hot is good for extricating campers with a sword.

Actually, with the exception of the cone, my bottom 8 least kill types are all vehicles.

Wow Frankie with that look could seriously convince people he was Billy Corgan. Although I don't know if that's a good thing these days.

Ive heard rumors the last few weeks about another update maybe coming out for the game, but I know there has been nothing officially mentioned. Anyone hear anything about this?

A playlist update or a game-update, ala melee fix? It would be nice if they did, but I'm not holding my breath. Fixing things like "Flag dropped, Flag Taken, Flag dropped!" x25 million times would be top of the list. Elites' hit boxes for their head, as well. Other than playlist things, though, I don't think there has been.

May's MM update will come and go, but it's doubtful anything impact will hit.
 
I would like to get in on the custom action tonight but it will probably have to wait until the Bulls are done taking the Celtics down so hopefully the customs will still be up and running.

Technically, we saw in-game campaign footage at E306. We had Halo 3 Campaign in-game screenshots before E307 though...

If there's about eight playing, and if there's room, I would like to join. I wouldn't mind helping out if you still need videos for your Atlas map, or others. My map still needs something to work with, since I'm still unaware if the weapons times, spawns, and overall gameplay is well worth it.

I am referring to the campaign that actually shipped. We got the first look at the campaign in an EGM issue a few months prior to the game shipping.

Though Halo 3's release is more instructive, as the timing of E3 is different than back then. And we all know Halo 2's development cycle wasn't buttery smooth.

But more to the point, Bungie doesn't seem to like to show their campaigns until they are pretty much ready, and it sounds like ODST is just about there. And so is E3. FWIW, I'm expecting trailer, screens, maybe release date - all that jazz - for E3. And an early fall release, ala Halo 3.

I personally can't picture an early fall release just given the rapid turnaround on this one.. but hey it would be neat if they did.
 
Damnation, Headlong, or Waterworks would be a treat, but Longshore sounded like a Headlong inspired map. I guess once we see video or pics we'll know.

I still doubt we get one.
 
Even though I was able to snag my roommate's 360 I made dinner plans before knowing this. So unfortunately I won't be able to play until later.

When you guys have a group planned contact GT: Fyrewulff Rex, hopefully he's been able to gather some PAF members for a game. We had planned for 9 pm EST. I hope to get on later though and catch up with you all. I really wanna try out my BTB map.

Anyways, play nice fellas.

I'll be on in about 30 minutes or so. Hopefully we run for a few hours; I'm interested to try out your map as well.
 
I noticed someone on my friends list got the new Mythic Infection achievements. I don't recall there being a playlist that currently has Infection matches on Mythic maps. Is there one?
 
Getting online right now for GAF customs. I had to clean by shotty after the shoot today, so that's why I'm a bit late.

Hope to play on some uber maps. Everyone needs to get on.
