Better connectivity? I thought I was connected the best I could be as it is?
Online Storage? We haven't needed it yet. Unless we get something we need to store...
New matchmaking options? Doubting this would be compatible with any older games with matchmaking, then again I couldn't even guess how this stuff would work.
Invitation to Silver Members? What does this even mean? Let them come online in certain games? Get "Gold" status for a set amount of time, just what?
It's just a bit odd at this moment. If E3 comes, this is real, and Microsoft delivers all this? I'll be all over it. I'm just thinking, even if it is real, it won't have any impact on older titles, such as our beloved Halo 3 here. I want to be wrong.
For better connectivity, P2P is not "the best you could be as it is". For online storage, peole whose 20GB HDDs are running low on the HDD space and Arcade users who have Xbox Live using the 512MB storage, but can't download anything else say "Hi". For new matchmaking options, I assume that'd be a change in the online infrastructure for games that don't have Matchmaking, or some type of built-in tech that would automatically give VIP members a matchmaking-esque online experience for ANY game. And for invitation to Silver members, I said "lolwat" as well.
We'll see come E3 or later. But Microsoft makes it a habit to show off a new Xbox LIVE feature/change to the service at every E3. This year will be no exception.
