What's to joke about? Given that ODST is an expansion rather than a full-fledged game, and a game that doesn't have you playing as the MC, it's easy to see why it might not do well. Halo Wars gives a very good indication that the direct opposite is true, and that the fanbase of Halo carries over into different genres and games (outside the trilogy).

People didn't buy Halo Wars as much because there are people out there who don't like RTS games. ODST still carries the Halo 3 name in it's title and is still a FPS. It's going to sell well. Hell, even folks who don't have Halo 3 will probably get it because it's reduced price. It'll come with the whole multiplayer component, plus an all new campaign. I'm not expecting Halo 3 number sales, but definitely more than Halo Wars. That's just the way I see it.

Has the price been confirmed any place? With the expansion and all the Multiplayer maps, I expect it to be at least $50, if not more. The maps themselves will drive it up (which is why I dislike that idea, but whatever).

It hasn't been confirmed, but Bungie has said repeatedly that they don't see this as a full priced title. Bungie saying it is different than Microsoft saying it though. =\

I don't see why MS/Bungie, whoever, releases the Halo 3: OSDT (with the codes [limited?]), and a Multiplayer Map Pack similar to Halo 2's. Easier to do one whole pack, I guess, but for a consumer like myself, it's driving up the price for half of which I already have on my Xbox.

It's pretty well known that microsoft made the original xbox. there isn't as much information available on its predecessor the Xbox360 however.

This would be funny if it made sense. Three maps maps that have been out multiple months as compared to a full fledged expansion with three 'new' maps that have yet to be released are not equivalent. Plus I listed this as an example of what Bungle could do. Ahh nothing like interactng with inferior minds during a class of signals and systems.

it counts Forge 'games' as well - every time you float an object you add to the total game count

i have 15,263 games played and i am only a level 32 Major, Grade 4 (where is the roll-eyes smiley?)
