Ooh, the playlist is up? Can't wait to try it out. Tonight will be such a rush, trying to play this, practice FIFA, and take care of some other things before The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham.

How many variants of Sandbox are in the playlist?

Looks like 3

* Sandbox (Default) - REQUIRED. Part of the Mythic Map Pack Grifbox
* (Sandbox) - Sandbox crypt variant set up for Grifball
* Tundra SWAT (Sandbox)- Sandbox crypt variant re-purposed for SWAT gametypes. Made by TTL L askan

Tundra is a pretty nice map with a simple layout. Trash and I played SWAT on it, so the spawns were a bit funky, but overall I liked the layout. Can't wait to see how Team BRs will work on it.

If anyone from Japan or Europe got the Map Pack early and is STILL getting Halo Wars CE, thus having an extra code collecting dust. If you give it to me, I'll send you my Halo Wars CE code on March 3rd. You'll still have an extra code, PLUS my envy level will drop considerably. :)

I don't think exterminations work like that.
You have to kill the whole team before any of them respawn, and on grifball the respawn time is very short. You can get a killionaire and still not get an extermination.

Dax needs to be caught up on this camping/tent reference. Please inform Dax.

It was from a custom game where Blood, I, Voltron, and....Voc, I think, were playing on orbital.

Nutter, Thermite, Ram, and...Ghaleon? were actively staying in their base, not seeking to push out for flag caps. Hence, camping, => tents.

I thought Sketch's and my video project had been unceremoniously pulled from beneath my Sambas, but upon returning to Bungie Software Products Corporation we took a look at some of the "footage" we shot and believe with the right amount of dedication, post-processing, and Final Cut Light that someday, somewhere down the line we'll have something to show from our E3 trip.

Is there any chance of this being shown sometime in the future? It would be great to see this

Just finished Halo Wars. Good shit. Good ending, doesn't fuck with the canon as far as I know. Really enjoyed the game. Now I'm ready to go back to Halo 3 and Mythic, though.

Post some detailed impressions in the official thread please. ;)

Wat?

That is why I had 2 flag captures and 37 kills :p

That's what I like to hear, can't wait for the game then.

The spawns are terrible in this game.

Honestly, it feels like almost every game that I play, enemies spawn directly behind me.
Even better when you're playing Oddball, and while your teammate holding the ball is on one side, you're spawning on the opposing side the entire game with the team you're facing getting spawned right by the ball carrier. Grade A stuff.

Happened to me tonight actually. I had the ball at bottom gold on Guardian and, after a few casualties on either side, my team starts spawning at green while the enemy team spawns bottom blue. Tell me how this makes a damn lick of sense.

Yup, that's another way of getting it too.
Want to know even another way?

Accepting party invites from your friend and playing with him, instead of sitting in the lobby and ignoring him.

Pro grifball tip from a pro grifballer: Smash the ground with your hammer right before the bomb explodes. If the other team is anywhere near the explosion and hasn't had their shields dropped yet, you can easily get an exterm.

Back from failing my test. Physical chemistry is pretty much the most god awful class in education.

Anyway I should get a good amount of time on my map tonight. I'll post pics later on.

I actually had a cool idea for spawning tech in Bungie's next game. Basically the spawnpoints have their own AI and act like NPCs, which are designed to look away from walls and corners and to actively avoid enemy players. Once they reach a suitable position, they enter a "ready" state, and they're added to a list of spawn points the team can spawn in.

For maximum utility, they could move insanely fast, stop on a dime and move in groups if necessary.

If you bastards ignore this idea again, I will cut you ^_^

I like this idea. It definitely beats spawning into BR fire or grenades.
