It has been suggested in some circles that I do not always give the whole of my being to the team and to the objective. To quash these disspiriting rumours, I present the following.

Last Action

This was the only score in the game, a game where our entire team was fairly outslayed by theirs. Watch the timer in the bottom right; I had one teammate bellowing that I needed to plant the bomb with more than fifteen seconds of Sudden Death left (as if I didn't know!). Note also how I run past a Battle Rifle in my determination to get to the bomb.

The most compelling 'characters' in gaming are often those that remain as a canvas for you to paint in your mind's eye. Bungie clearly understands this with titles such as Halo and Marathon. It will be very interesting to see the progression of Bungie's narrative with regards to their protagonist(s).

In Bungie I Trust as long as it's Halo 4 (with MC), Marathon, or a new IP. :D

LTTP on responding to this, but yeah, if MC actually was a character and not a blank slate, he's be considered a character.

If you think the best thing about MC is that he's a blank slate for the player to imagine, that's cool. But I would then question why you'd have trouble moving from one blank slate to another.

This heat map thing is cool.

Did you know that juices does all his sniping on that thing you can get on at the back of the base on high ground? I always thought it was a SAM launcher or something.

O I'm soooo terrible I quit out of MM games. Jeez a whole bunch of that is from my connection dropping out randomly which happens to me all the time. You've played with me before, no?

Holy shit that's awesome! I've never seen heatmaps be so direct with a plan. I love to sit on that because when you do the other team almost always spawns by the beach, its one of the foibles of High Ground spawns (Damn a HG spawning issue, no way!) and in Sniper games the beach is at a terrible disadvantage. PS I hate HG.

So it looks like the new stat stuff is up @ bnet.

I'm at -69 EXP :), with a +1300

I have a firend who is at -400, but is still @ +2000

It's the people that are -500 and have a EXP that is 0 who are the problem.

According to that portion of the interview, after Halo 3 and DLC, it's their main, next big project.

Since it's fact that they are working on more Halo (see that Xbox guy's post e3 interview and all this SI stuff) and them saying rather clearly they are working on the Peter Jackson Halo game and it doesn't seem like such a big mystery any more. =)

I think their plans have changed. It was just a couple months ago that Luke said Bungie has nothing to do with the PJ project (now "Chronicles").

Considering the retail success of Bungie's Halo, it makes fiscal sense for Microsoft to craft more games set in the Halo universe. Frank's recent departure and the job postings we addressed a few weeks ago (for Chronicles, which we are not involved with) certainly indicate a desire to further expand into the Halo universe. We're definitely looking forward to seeing the fruits of their labor.
