That would be hilarious. All this hype, big name like Peter Jackson... that would be too funny.

Some guesswork by yours truly:Merguson said:Is it possible the number of IPs related to Halo could actually be four?
You have Halo Wars, The Halo Chronicles, the unannounced Halo project (Don Mattrick) by Bungie, and Halo 4 (Microsoft, Gearbox, etc.).
Maybe not actually Halo 4, but around the events of Halo?
Dirtbag 504 said:How is that any different from the halo we have right now?
I'm not singling you out Merg, I know you are just trying to rationalize what little we've got... but if that is all it is, its no different then what tons of developers are doing, with an added air of cockiness and ignorance. I'm guessing its going to be episodic, something no one has done correctly to date (outside of a few attempts by MMO's).
The fact that it was announced so long ago, with such big names attached to it, and building from such a major franchise.. people are naturally going to want to know what's going on with it. We're starting to hit that point in time where so much time has passed, if we don't hear something soon.. I'd expect to see it get re-defined as something else or we'll never hear from it again.

It seems way to good to be true but if for some reason it is true, I can see a neogaf exploding over the immense awesomeness, but once again its only a rumor.
This was something made up on the forum of a banned website, which was then written up as article on a different banned website, which xboxfanboy.com picked up. (Those guys are fucking idiots, BTW.)clashfan said:Maybe MS heldout the Bungie's E3 announcement for this?

If your team beats the opposing team by more than 20 kills, then you get one of the B.net-only medals, "Steaktacular!"jaundicejuice said:Hate to throw in the C-c-c-combo-breaker! but why does Luke owe me a steak and four of them at that. And for the reference, it's from a Bungie podcast where Luke made a bet he and another staffer could beat two other staffers by 20 kills. The loser buys the other two a steak dinner. It became a meme and the b.net team added it as two of the medals that only appear on bungie.net (the other being Linktacular).

Cnet said:GameVee creator and Chief Creative Officer Jason Bradicich wouldn't tell me the specifics of how the Grab system works, but presumably he and his team have found a way to automate the download and playback of these files into equipment with a capture card that's pumping the video to GameVee's servers.
You're right of course, I was just guessing based on the statement made previously (I think in an update) of there being three separate projects Bungie had in the oven. At this point, it would seem to me that Halo 4 is a long way off (the third of all of the projects); Bungie's been pretty clear on trying to branch off in separate directions and I doubt Microsoft would risk loosing money by launching multiple Bungie projects so close together.Dirtbag 504 said:Knowing the little that we do know, yeah this seems about right to me.Mr Vociferous said:Some guesswork by yours truly:amirite?

Although, you are taking a (small) leap in saying the Superintendent Project is seperate from both Halo 4 and the new IP. For all we know the SI could have been a teaser to either one of those IP's in development. We just don't know enough yet.
