Called "monitor3". Could this be the "Head2" referred to?

Cool, I guess. Excpet for the Covies part. Plus, CTF = auto veto from online morons.Ranked Big Team persists through July. RBTB remains a double EXP hopper. Reduced weighting of Covies map variants. Increased weighting on Heavy CTF.
DLC:
Heroic Maps skip after veto in both Objective and Slayer.
Wow. I turned it off after a few minutes though, I don't want to spend 20 minutes having someone who sounds like they're drowning in saliva rant at me.XSX said:

Those two gametypes make that map.

alisdair said:still with BR starts
Since BR starts pops up so often. And if you agree that the map would play better with BR starts then why don't you think it should always have BR starts or at the very least more BRs on the map? It seems like there is enough cover and corners to make the AR viable for those who want to chuck a few nades and run in AR blazing.rance said:That's what I assumed, so complaining about having only one BR seemed irrelevant to me.
Absolutely not. BR starts don't allow for the don't allow for the use of the three golden aspects of Halo (weapons, grenades, and melee) as much as AR starts do.alisdair said:One BR for Cold Storage is going to be fine, guys. Guardian only has one BR, and we all know how well that plays. It'll be better still with BR starts, but then all of Halo 3 is.

Not really. With BRs starts the use of melee goes down considerably. No. AR starts is better.FFChris said:Nah. The both work well with the w/g/m system. AR is more a shoot+melee weapon, but the BR is a grenade+shoot weapon through and through.
How in the world could you think having 1 BR on the map wouldn't lead to a shortage of BRs? This would only be the case if the match was BR starts and it's not like those pop up the majority of the time.rance said:I find it more of an AR and/or Shotgun map, as said earlier.
Other than that, all I meant was there probably won't be a shortage of BR's and having only one placed on the map won't be problematic.
Fuck. Yeah.In addition to the booth, we are also finalizing plans for the triumphant return of the Bungie FanFest.
This entire thing with MLG needs to quit. I wish I could simply ignore their presence but Bungie insists on slaving over many of their wishes. Even then that god awful community groans about every wish that Bungie does not grant.Botolf said:I'm not even going to bother watching. Like I said, having BRs wouldn't hurt those with ARs because it's a relatively small map and positioning oneself for a quick spray and pray should not be that hard. It's for this reason that the inclusion of more BRs would only give players more options and make people happier.
My rage is more directed against the bile-spewers who inhabit their forums, but want to discuss our shared anger over dinner? *heart heart heart*EazyB said:This entire thing with MLG needs to quit. I fucking detest MLG and the sad people that follow it. I really hope they switch over to a new game or Bungie gives them the finger and removes their playlist for a different "hardcore" hopper. I don't need to know that one of my favorite games is on ESPN and laugh at the fact that some even remotely consider videogames a sport.
Whew, that felt pretty good.

I never spoke of importance of BRs on maps during matches with BR starts. If the map is as small as as Cold Storage and there are BR starts, no one is going to run out of ammo because there will be enough bodies lying around. They will have a constant supply of ammo regardless.rance said:Eh, BR starts seem to be the norm now. I'm not complaining about it, all I'm saying is that it does seem to pop up the majority of the time. Besides, I'm sure Bungie can always add more BR's for the non-BR start gametypes. These setting aren't exactly set in stone.
As for the inclusion of more BR's in a BR start gametype, I think that's just redundant. That doesn't give players more options, it just gives them a constant stream of ammo, what with placed BR's and the BR's from fallen enemies being available.
I'm serious, MLG is a bad joke that just won't die.rance said:I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but yeah, MLG is pretty silly stuff huh.
Treating videogames as a sport, in general, is hells of silly.

And there's no fuckin way BR starts pop any where near 50% of the time. I'm willing to bet it's much closer to 20%.

Hell, I did. I demanded my friends not reveal the Legendary ending to me until I finished it myself. I never read any of the novels but I thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy.
I wasn't even INTERESTED in multiplayer until my roommate introduced it to me back when he bought the game.

if getting rich is more important than being respected as a developer, well so be it then, in which case I'm sure Bungie and EA are having lunch together somewhere, lighting cigars with hundred-dollar bills.
Halo 3 in undoubtedly the worst game of the series. When your only positive aspect is a decrease in aim assist, something is seriously wrong.
:lol :lol :lolI really don't have much of a closing thought on this, so I'll just state the obvious:
Play Shadowrun
