I killed my neighbors cat when they were out of town. Well, I didn't really kill it, more like opened the door to discover its cold corpse lying half on the rug in the foyer. They were due back with their three children that afternoon, so I had to dispose of it myself. Unfortunate that it had belched some type of blood, bile, and other unidentifiable liquids onto the wooden floor. Like a loving steward, I wrapped her in a bath towel and stored the corpse in my garage until they came home, put the kids to bed for the night, and collected the remains. I even sprinkled some rose petals from my garden over her. I never told them about the body fluids. True story.

Yes - I grab the Carbine and the Overshiled and take out Invisible guy with a nade and a couple of headshots before he fully dematerializes.
 
This is a joke. Stop picking on the kid, we all know he is a little timid and cannot back up his talk. But if this kid max_pl doesn't play and after he has lost all credibility, then I will take on the challenge to lay the beat down on some matchmaking nerds.

Just because you're a level 50 after playing 2,000 matchmaking games and you finally got your General Grade 2 status after playing another 2,000 BTB social matches means nothing. Looking at someones bungie.net stats and his gameplay videos also means nothing. So to your so called 'halo' gods that play on GAF take a look at my stats, videos, gamelays, etc. and then talk smack. :lol

Winning in a 1v1 isn't a 'true' testament of individual skill at all. Maybe, if by any chance you nerds could muster up a 2v2 or a 4v4 to play and win against another team, then talk about individual playing skill.

Yes it is. Empirically, logically and mathematically so. More than one on one would demonstrate your abilities within a team. This is logic and fact, not opinion. And we're not picking on anyone. Winner gets bragging rights and armor. And if Max wins, he wins big.

1 vs 1 and Teams are totally different worlds. I know one or two guys who are good at winning 1 vs 1 matches, but tend to suck at Team Slayer matches. Max_PL could lose all the 1 vs 1 matches he plays but he could still be a beast when it comes to helping a team achieving a victory.

Eh, that wouldn't work since his opponent would have to take time to really learn the map.

Besides, Frank's already said that Max can pick another 1v1 map. We're just waiting on Max to either pick another map or pick another excuse.

Sandtrap - to big
Valhalla - too grassy
Last Resort - too tropical
Snowbound - bound in too much snow
Isolation - too isloated
Construct - poorly constructed
Last Resort - what if I don't get beach spawn?
Guardian - poor Lockout remake
Narrows - too narrow
The Pit - is the pits
Epitaph - too risky. Map name might be foreshadowing

Not sure if he picked up the map pack.
 
The Pit is fine for 1v1 if you take out the RL. go ahead and pleh.

I suggest a best of 3, each of them picks 1 map they want to play, GAF picks the final map
 
Narrows is fine. Each person will spawn on each side and there's the same weapons.

The Pit is the same, but it could be a bigger "camp fest" because of the bases and the Sword Room.

Bungle, you need to add a "Broadcast" option on the next Halo game you make! ;)

You would have to remove the power ups though.
 
No picking on anyone. But the original cast of players is Ramirez, Nutter, Max_PL and KevRo.

Anyone want to make one of these matches happen?

I can beat the Ogre twins with handicaps on. And I will give them a 49 point start.

well then they're probably not good. really, i don't think there have been solid players who don't play mlg and just play matchmaking since like the middle of '05 except for a rare few, and they only have potential.

Most of GAF Prob thinks ogres are shit cuz they play MLG settings. 'omg the br is so cheap".

So the bar for "good" is anyone who can compete in the pro circuit? That means the "good" players are in what, the triple digits and everyone else sucks?
