Got the game earlier from a friend who was quite nice. I'm saving the campaign for later when some of my pals get the game, but the multiplayer is very fun.

The saved films are neat, too. It reminds me of Back to the Future when Marty is watching himself get chased by the terrorists.

It's also weird seeing the covenant characters in multiplayer after the beta.




I'm also in sore need of some gaf players on my friends list, so send me an invite if you're in the same boat.

Theres a 7-11 right around the corner that is selling the game but only the regular edition. I was going to go buy it but I decided to just wait until tomorrow morning and pick up my CE from Gamestop.

What do you mean? One guy was obviously disabled, but that entire deal seemed so unorganized that I probably would have shown less enthusiasm than that, lol.

i would like to confirm that the PAL version of Halo 3 can run on US and Japanese 360. this has been tested by me.

you can even play people in the US with your Pal copy of Halo 3 and vise versa [ its not region locked on live ]

I had trouble getting back into the Halo groove at first after weeks of CoD4. My K/D ratio was an abysmal 2.4. Thankfully, it hasn't taken me long to get my groove back, and now I'm hovering right around 1.00.

Me and 3 friends have now bought this and looking forward to some 4 player co-op tonight or later in the week (we all work so...). We are all Halo noobs, myself never even played Halo before. Should be interesting for us all to jump in to a universe already 2 chapters old that we have no idea about.

For those wondering. In the shopping centre we went to in Sydney, Big W hadn't received their copies yet. But Target and JB HiFi are selling it for $79. EB and GAME for $99. Doesn't seem to be a supply problem at all. At least from all the copies we seen in Target.

I just beat the game.... man... I am stunned.

The whole game was completely AMAZING. The story didn't make much sense on first playthrough, because I was so focused on the gameplay at hand, but I am sure I will pick it up later. The gameplay was unbelievable from start to finish. There was one level where I do recall saying to myself that the pacing could have used some help, other than that it was balls to the wall from start to finish.

That ending sequence was just so unreal, jesus! The music, the action, SICK!

I think my favorite part of the game was that it focuses a good portion to vehicle combat. The

dogfights against ghosts, and using the hornets to mount the scarabs

was AWESOME. Those two moments were unbelievable for me.

I basically said "Wow!" and had a smile from ear to ear the whole time I was playing.

I really hope this is not the end of the series, I will be sorely disappointed. Please make sure to stick through the credits as the last cinematic was ridiculously touching.

I feel depressed now. It's over.

Confession time:

Been up in Seattle playing Halo 3 all day at Microsoft's "Halo 3 Lock-In" party. Seventeen of us came up to play all day. (It was under NDA until we got back.)

Now we're off to the launch party at a Best Buy near the hotel and hand out loot.

Speaking of which....wow. Epic swag. More laters.

The game is good. Very, very, good.
