AS I WAS SAYING:
Vancouver was very nice. It's a shame, it rained most of the days I was there, so everything was sort of soggy and gloomy most days.
Concerning the idiots in Canada*: I encountered three. One, a screaming woman in a pizza shop, the other a french-sounding person who yelled at me to watch my kid. I have no kids. Also, some guy dumped a bottle of urine on our rental car, but I'll go into that another time.
(*Note: I am by no means saying that everyone in Canada is full of idiots, I'm in fact saying that I met two there. Why would I say something rude about the wonderful country of Canada? It wouldn't make sense. I love Canada. Why would I insult it? It would be like if I showed my love for Ghaleon by making fun of him non-stop, and we all know I would never do any such thing.)
It's true! Canadians are wonderful nice people! ...creepily nice, at times. I got in the elevator at my wonderful hotel, and there was a guy in it who couldn't find the "16" button. When I pointed it out to him, he started thanking me and shaking my hand. When we got to his floor, he thanked me again and told me what a joy it was to meet me. ...strange.
The highlight of the trip was seeing the Sea Otters in the Vancouver aquarium. I'm not going to ramble, but I didn't think it was possible to be cuter than a grunt until I met Nyac, Milo and Tanu.
Anywho, the past month has been glorious. I've found myself with tons of free time, so I've been practicing my Keith Jackson imitation, and watching Flight of the Conchords over and over.
Now that the off-topic stuff is out of the way, let's get down to buisness. I'm too lazy right now to connect my tidbits with words and sentences, so I'll just post them as a big, long, list:
1. I have been reading everything you people have said in the past month. I know all about DoctorWHO's pathetic confessions, The Diabeetus, ButtonBasher's girlfriend carrying NeoGAF signs around Grove City, the pathetic NewEGG attempts, Ghaleon's 16th child being born, and the stupid jaggies shit. Sad, huh? Yes, I feel that GAF is the best way to get my news, so I've been visiting often, the drawback being that I need to actually read the random ramblings from you fools.
2. After my mysterious disappearance, it was nice to see people missing me. That sounds Emo, melodramatic and sort of sad at the same time, but what I mean is that I'm glad to hear that people actually appreciate the random insanity I call "my posts." That said, I do plan on posting on-topic much, much more, because come Tuesday, I'll actually have something to talk about that doesn't involve my dislike for foreigners (Canadians aren't foreign, they are man and womangods). I at times wonder if people think of me as a goofy guy who posts in halo threads, not a Halo fan who posts goofy stuff in Halo threads. It's easy to forget that I spent most of the Beta thread arguing with people about weapon balance, maps and spawns on High Ground vs. Snowbound. I don't mean to sound all serious and internet-drama-creating, I'm just sayin', I'm coming for you fools who dislike Snowbound.
3. I don't want to ramble since this is already a fucking essay, but all of the new stuff is looking great, and the newest ViDOC was AWESOME. It just made me so excited. I do want to mention the commercials for a minute. I have to say, I really liked both of them. A lot of people talked about how the old guy saying "Master Chief" ruined it for them, but I didn't get that. Halo is about you being Master Chief, you being the hero, and I always was called Master Chief by the marines in Halo. I don't see why someone who fought with him would do any different. Actually, the Believe one was the one that was ruined at the end for me. It was really good, and I was a big fan of the music, and surprised that anyone could make a Diorama not seem cheesy, but something about the Chief looking up at the end bothered me. It wasn't act of looking up, there was just something the execution of him looking up that seemed janky and unemotional. The third commercial was pretty awesome. The way the guy talked about the Spiker... good acting and writing.
4. All of you who keep spoiling the fact that there is an ending are jerks. I DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING! NOW I KNOW THAT HALO 3 HAS AN ENDING UNLIKE HALO 2!
5. I'm not going to pretend that I have the self-restraint to go totally dark and avoid GAF and reviews, because I don't. I will say, I may end up taking drastic steps to avoid having things spoiled.
6. That last podcast was hilarious. Frankie was so funny, and Marty is such a god. SUCH. A. GOD.
Anywho, I'm back, and now the real party can start. Finding anything to post about without me there was a struggle, I'm sure, but now I am here. The security blanket is back. Mama is here. I will hold you, but not all of you at the same time. Excellent job with the thread Ghaleon and Don Mattrick.
GREAT JOURNEY TIME!

What what now? Quebec continues to be one of the best provinces of the best country on the earth. What sort of person would claim otherwise?
