10 bucks is cheap imo. Especially if you figure in how it's only been an extra $30 over about a year and a half. I think that it should be other way around, where people who don't have the maps are sorta confined to social playlists. Ranked should include everything, because I paid for it.
omg. if i had that picard pick i would totally facepalm it right now.

It actually makes sense from a business perspective. It's not like they are removing the ability to play online at all.
It would make perfect sense if Bungie was still owned by M$. Forcing their user base to buy DLC isn't something coming from a company 'has said multiple times that they would like to see the maps become free down the road but that is M$'s call which fucks a bunch of shit up. ' But you're correct that in the fact they aren't removing the ability to play online but they are limiting what the original paying customers can experience. This is the core ARGUMENT here.

I'll respond to this.. wait, no. I don't care what you call me or how many exclamation points you post, you're not going to find people willing to listen to you if you going around like this. I know.

Dude, if you start calling folks names, they ain't going to respond. Chill out or do something to calm that rage, it's misplaced and not welcome.
this is how i speak in real life.i call everyone retarded and stupid. ask tashi.

Considering how long people have been playing online, yes they have gotten their monies worth. Most consoles games with online multiplayer die off very fast and most folks going online would have no one to play with, Halo is still up and going, well worth the original asking price. Still is.

Considering they gave away content which people like me and others here have paid for, even if you don't buy any DLC you would be getting more free maps. So yeah, even the the non DLC folks have gotten good value.
omg. i give up.
seriously guys, if you let them slip this one by there isn't anything to stop them to do it again. when i buy a product i want to be able to get my monies worth. i believe the multiplayer/matchmaking part of halo3 is part of the experience that i paid for, as is evident by the marketing of it to me when they were building up hype for the game. to limit my online experience even a snudge is giving in and i will have none of it. i'm not going to sit by while they force people, like pedrolumpy, to chose to either spend more money or just be excluded from the fun that they already paid for.
*edit*
this is like crack, i can't stop replying

In all seriousness, you've got to be kidding with all this, right?

I said earlier it's fine if bungie incorporated a playlist[singluar] just for the DLC. i just posted there to say it is fine to have those maps also incorporated into regular matchmaking also. What is your argument here?
And to EazyB, it makes perfect sense. Bungle is just hiding behind M$ to mask the fact that they(like everyone in the world) likes to make money. If they really, really wanted to make the maps free they could find a way, either it be through their own pocket or through some marketing scheme I'm more than sure they could find a way.
