12 hours is a long time. Here are some more pretty pictures, namely of me and some buds (Mr Daravon, Brainboy, Revenge First) nailing the Annual Achievement down, and beating the Internet itself by overcoming massive, massive lag throughout).

Sweet pictures. It was honestly the most epic run of a Halo Campaign level I have had in a long long time. Almost as epic as that last Halo 2 game the two of us had on Lockout, just over a year ago (ending 15-14, simply begging for a Saved Film to see how I didn't win)...

I think my favourite part was when Daravon got stuck in the middle of a jump that always led to death... Thank god Bungie put in a feature that returns you to the previous checkpoint if something like that happens.

they've got a gametype in btb called big splocets. rockets and lazer spawn with inifiinite ammo. pretty interesting with 16 players running around...

It's pretty fun, although there's almost no reason to use the rockets.

I found it to be far better than Rockets or Shotty Snipers.

Lazer is the wya to go for long range combat, but I find rockets pretty effective in close combat, especially when you've got the high ground advantage or you're ocing down from the man cannon.

Its okay gametype. One of those things you get every 10 games or so. Just to break the tide up, ya know?

man there are some real idiots in team squad. heres the set up: we've got 3 guys on our team and the other team has 5. luckily they have me (im not tooting my own horn but seriously i was owning shit up). Anyway, with 20 seconds left we're ahead by about 5 kills. You think the sensible thing to do would be just to hang back and just let the game tick over. Wrong, these guys rush in, keep getting killed again and again. The game ends on a draw when we should of won.

The dude who made us lose had a kd of -24 and he was a dumb elite with that DUMB dinosaur armour. I was at +33. Srsly, i dont mind sucky players if you're trying (especially in objective matches), but theres no rush to try and get youself kill in the last minute in a slayer match: (

A similar thing happened to me on Last Resort. The game was tied 34-34 with about ten seconds left; my team was hiding behind the tower next to the shot-gun spawn. Within those ten seconds, two grenades came flying from where the turrets are and killed one of my teammates; the guy who got killed didn't even attempt to move. Grrrr.

I had the flag, was running as fast as I could to cap it, when I get in to the centre room on Avalanche, and some dude just comes up to me, kills me, then sits in there with the flag waiting to get a kill with it.

I did this to Shin last night, but I didn't want any kills or achievements. I just wanted to smash my Mongoose down on his head. I just pried the flag from his cold, dead hands and scored it.

I've made peace with Flight expecting something much more concrete but if this:

is anything to go by, it's still Halo 3.

Well it's pretty much confirmed that the Superintendent is related to Halo since he's obviously watching over New Mombasa at some time around the Halo trilogy timeline. Also those images you posted are pretty condemning proof, aren't they...
And then there's the Marketplace description of the video:

Hrm tricky call. Is an expansion considered a new game? I'd definitely coin this as an expansion. I mean, technically it's a new game, but it's also just adding content to an old game.

In my opinion, this is an expansion to an existing game, therefore not a new game, and you keep your Flight. Purely on a technicality and semantics of your original bet.

Also - you were very wrong. You didn't lose the bet, but you were still wrong :-D

But yes this is pretty much an expansion and that is still something I welcome with open arms as the Halo (gameplay) engine is perfect (to me). So another game (expansion even) using set engine is awesome. But this just means that their NEW games are still yet to be shown or even hinted at. Which is even more GOOD news.

Also, I Think this thread is even more relavent than before. Since from the looks of things they are still calling this Halo 3: (something , something)
