Spectre (James bond) ultimate shit

Just how awful is this seriously? You would think having Chris waltz as blowfield, finally seeing a modern spectre and being a sequel to the last couple of films it was going to be the bomb.

I know sky fall was stupid and people have mixed feelings on it. But was still better than this shit.

Quantum in quantum of soliace was supposed to be the shoe in for spectre (shadow international criminal gang), yet we get another crime gang that gets reconned into the story. In fact that’s one of the main problems with this film. So many things reconned it just to make everything connected.

Blowfield being James salty half
Brother (lol)
All of the bad shit that happened to James was just his brother.
The salty hacker in skyfall was just being pushed in the direction by blowfield to of course piss off james etc.

The actions were all garbage bar the train fight.
The stupid torture device.. bonds escape just looked awful.
Even a hilarious joke at the end is ruined. “Now I know why you’re called C” should have not said anything else, instead an explanation is given ruining the joke.

All of the roger moor movies was better than this.

At least Skyfall was entertaining. Fucking Spectre almost put me to sleep. Waste of fucking Monica Belluci and Christopher Waltz's time and skill.

Careful what you wish for these days.

There are certain things the duo appears open to considering, and other conversations that are nonstarters, when it comes to selecting the next Bond. “He can be of any color, but he is male,” says Broccoli. “I believe we should be creating new characters for women — strong female characters. I’m not particularly interested in taking a male character and having a woman play it. I think women are far more interesting than that.”

What I wonder is why everything looked like it was peed on? I don’t get the golden shower camera filter this movie had. It made everything look so fake.

Overall it's not a good movie. Although I did enjoy the fight scene with Bautista. It was well made, and cool to see Bond get his ass kicked essentially and work around his weaknesses.

Eh, when he first tries to put the rope around his neck it looks quite fake

This is one of the entries I only remember bits and pieces.

I mostly remember my emotional resonance with the film, which was initially liking it and as it went on, enjoying it less and less until by the end I hated it. =P

Even QoS was enjoyable for me because they were trying to develop Bond and Vesper. And they had so much chemistry in CR.

Skyfall tried to do something new by killing M, it was a more personal story, Bardem was a great villain, Deakins cinematography was *cheff kiss*

But Spectre was like they thought "oh well, we have to make another Bond movie, I guess"

It had no heart. It felt entirely done by committee. EVERYONE phoned in.

"We gotta have a love interest, a chase scene, brawl in a train against a big foe. An enemy base in the desert, I guess ..."

Introducing the main bad guy with no buildup or antecipation like fucking Palpatine at the end of Episode IX

I left the cinema awestruck by how bad this movie was. I remember as if it was yesterday.

Casino Royale was a great film, and could easily stand out on its own even if it wasn't a mainline James Bond film or part of the series. It had a good story, good acting, good suspense and action scenes, and everything was grounded, gritty, and believable. This film for me is peak James Bond.

Every iteration after that in my opinion has been weaker, and weaker. They've tried to create some universe with the Craig series but it just doesn't work, with the whole Quantum group and everything.

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Avenger Universe syndrome the real movies don’t try so hard to connect you barely notice the time difference between Bourne 1-3.

I hated Casino Royale from the start while everyone gushed over it. I was like, this is not James Bond. It's more like Jason Bourne. Never watched any of his subsequent films. People trying to act like this is how Bond was in the books, bullshit. Go read Casino Royale. He's the suave agent that Sean Connery portrayed. Daniel Craig all angry and emo was not that.
