These guys know what there talking about, only people I know that go in to depth about monitors, although there CPU/GPU reviews are no slouches either and where the only to call people out with the transistor "problem" on the 3000 series GPU's at launch. (They didn't rush in, they took time and researched finding that everyone was rushing to an incorrect conclusion, they turned out to be right)

Yeah my main 2 YT sites I enjoy the most are these guys and Gamers Nexus and agree with them Sony really dropped the ball on this monitor

Name other headset that has those specs and costs less

Do I take into account that its an accessory that can only be used on a single £530 console? and is restricted to that enviroment alone, hell if the PSVR2 could be used outside of the PlayStation it would be preordered out. But since we cant...

Anyone can grab one right now.

I've bought my Pixio 245c for 180$ and it's excellent. Especially for the price.
It was 27 inch, 1440p, 95% DCI-P3 coverage. Sadly up to 95Hz VRR but still it's much better than typical 60hz.
Bought it in 2019!
