PSN server issues

Australia here, it didn't appear to go down. I could sign in and out at will. But Destiny reckons I'm not a subscriber. This is getting old.

The only ones to reply thus far (to my understanding) is Activision support, and that was an enquiry as to what the exact problem was.

Small aside, I misread your alias as "Taffcore" and thought what an awesome genre of music that would be.
 
Btw, best way to tell if you're online is to hover over the "What's new" tab. If nothing loads below, that's how you know you're not properly logged in.

Anyway, this is the first time it has gone down while I'm online. Yay.
 
Finally have a long weekend off work and PSN is down today and Monday night too, great. All these PSN problems are getting ridiculous now, it's happening more and more frequently and Sony usually take forever to actually fix this stuff and keep everyone in the dark about it too. If it keeps up my gaming purchases for more online focused games is going to shift to the Xbox One, I just don't have the time to not be able to play games because of network issues.

If you're like me and have been affected from this morning, the answer is no.

I asked because the poster said only Destiny was playing up which is interesting.
 
Since the last two updates is a pain in the ass to conect PS4 to PSN (at least on Wifi mode) not only servers, takes ages library and news to load.
 
The good news is, I just managed to get into the uk store and buy sleeping dogs. Bad news is, it won't let me download it, just kicks me out of the store :(
 
Awesome! I was having issues earlier then it started working properly..then it said I was no longer a PS+ subscriber, and now it's not letting me sign in at all..So I can't even do non-PS+ content in Destiny.

Me too, Destiny has "requirements not met" and tells me I need an upgrade to play any online parts of the game, restarted the game several times.Pain in the ass, psn/bungie who ever needs to get it together.
 
Amazing I can#t even buy an offline game to play like Styx because he store also doesn#t work. Seriously Sony this is getting a bit too much lately.
 
I got kicked from Destiny this morning about 10:30, just as I'd got enough strange coin for Icebreaker too! I can still occasionally get back on the store every now and again though before getting took back to the home screen. Incredibly frustrating considering it's a paid service.

Destiny oddly seemed to work in single player mode on PS4. I just got the same "Playstation Plus required" message for Crucible. Anyone confirm if Crucible will work on PS3 since it doesn't require PS+?
 
Hmm I bought the white DriveClub bundle for my cousin's bday. He is repeatedly asking me why the servers are down and why he can't play DriveClub multiplayer. He thinks it's his fault and I have to tell him that his router and ISP are fine.

Not a very good first impression, Sony.
 
Sony really needs to figure out their network infrastructure problem. Even though my xbox one is spec wise inferior, xbox live is far superior in network stability. I thought I would buy my multi players in ps4 due to the better eye candy, obviously that's changing.

Diablo 3 is not complaining about Plus being missing, but quick match + random campaign quest is failing to find something very quickly. I'd say it's dead.

That's the only other check I can do. Warframe is logging in but it's not connected to Plus.

You ain't kidding. I am sure they are working on it, but this really needs to become a major Task Force for them. If this continues into the holidays it could really start to tarnish the goodwill they have accumulated this gen. PSN reliability needs to become rock solid.

It is really annoying and all that good well bullshit is going to start to go right out the window if they don't fix this shit. I'm really not understanding why they don't say shit about this. It's so frustrating. Acknowledge the shit and let us know what's going on. Every day it's something new. Don't even get me started on NBA 2K because they have been fucking up too.
 
Didn't recognise my PS+ membership earlier today. So, held off playing Destiny for some star collecting in Driveclub (offline ftw lol).

The Driveclub servers are a completely different issue. They have not been working since the game launched. An issue that has been well documented here and in other places. They are still working on it it's taking just way too long.
 
I think it's time to let them really know that this is just bullshit for a service we're paying for. Twitter-campaign, here we go? ;)

Yeah, that looks pretty bad given how much worse PSN is compared to even half a year ago. Still, wasn't he talking about what is now known as PS Now?
 
Sony can't handle their massive success.
I guess they thought that their market share this gen would be split with MS, and not an almost 3:1 WW domination.
Failure on Sony when they didn't plan within 6mths after sawing the initial sales of PS4 in US/UK/EU.
 
Bought a PS4 today and when trying to login with my PSN details I am being told that my password is incorrect. I try to reset my password but it then tells me that my DOB is incorrect (which it isn't). And of course, PSN UK helpline is closed now until Monday -_-.
