But at that point consumers will reevaluate its worth. Sure I expect them to raise by a dollar or two occasionally but if it loses its value, the service will also suffer. I seriously doubt it ever loses its value, especially as more robust competition comes from Amazon, etc.
Reevaluating its worth may not be of much use for those choosing one console/platform over another based on a monthly service that may change at any time. It's a bad decision IMO.
Similarly, I also hope no one bought a PS4 or PS5 based on whatever is being offered on Plus right now.
People should be choosing a console based on which games they want to play.
As for Gamepass, I don't expect it to raise by a dollar or two. I think by the time Microsoft needs to make money with Gamepass they will create different subscription tiers, and I expect the tier that covers day-one AAA releases from Bethesda like Elder Scrolls 6 and Doom Infinite to cost over $25/month.
