i had to go back to my natural colour a while ago after i'd gone on a long spree of constantly dying it... and as a result, i had to cut it pretty short to get rid of the damage. but it's okay now, it's long again (almost 50 cm).

You guessed it good demon, had quite a big bang in my life between the two pics. It did cause the change I guess. I actually think I look a lot friendlier and happier in the first pic, don't have any recent pics like that. Do like my new hair though and hardly wear those glasses.
