well i've had multiple venography's. all relating to the fact that my right subclavian is totally obstructed and absolutely nothing flows through it. i've had over 50 picc lines threaded through it and the introduction of a rather large chest port was the final nail in the coffin. i was one a 2 yr treatment of iv antibiotics and near the end of the regimen, the port basically stopped working. went in and took a look and found out the subclavian had basically closed off. so we placed a stent to open the vein back up but that only lasted for a couple of months. needless to say, the port became useless so we removed it and since then we've run more tests to measure the closure of the vein -- which is complete and total occlusion. with stent still placed.

So what does all of this mean in regards of your health?

I followed all that... :( Sad to hear it dude. I forget your whole story, but a chest port is serious business and if that shut down, I'm curious to know how they're supposed to give you your meds.

Also, your arm... that can't be just the result of failed IV sticks, is it?

This is what happens during a venogram when access is denied multiple times by a completely shut down Rt subclavian vein occlusion. Mind you, even with a stent in the vein there's still no blood flow. Luckily, I have decent collateral support.

Nothing more appealing than the feeling of multiple metal guide wires wrapping around themselves inside your body. Well, other than the feeling of a metal guide wire introduced through the femoral touching up against your stent.

Is that a hole in your arm?

Do they know what caused the occlusion-- atherosclerotic plaque? hypercoagubility?

Picc lines usually placed for long term abx therapy-- sorry to hear about ur pliight and hope everything goes well.

Wow. That was a very polite guest list to find your "tie," "awesome."

When it comes to weddings, the only two people that matter on the "Do they care?" list are the bride and groom; it's their party.

It's very rare that I say this, because I generally think glasses look silly, but I think he looks much better in the pic with glasses.

I used to have contacts, but got lazy. I'm considering getting them again.

I also get told that people like me having facial hair and others don't. Really weird.

And I'm named after a Pokémon. I'd be crazy not to have any. (Dialga is on the other side of the dresser)

"Entertaining" a guest with remarkably cheap champagne that I tried to open with a leatherman multi-tool. I probably should've just pierced it with my chin.

Looks nice Truant. Where in Italy was it?
Your Sisters are hot by the way.

Pantheon - Rome, to be specific.

I only have one sister. The other person is my stepdads daughter, though I don't really think of her as family.

Nice. Any reason why your Mum had it there? I'm assuming you're not Italians because you kind of look Irish/Scottish. Hope you're not offended if I'm wrong about your heritage.
