Guys, I have a strange request.
As someone who has never asked for a haircut in English, how would you tell your barber/stylist you want your hair to look like this:
Over here we just tell them what trimmer size we want ("# 3 arriba, # 1 a los lados, peinado hacia el frente") and that's that. But seeing as I will be relocating to Texas, of all places, and English is not my primary language, I honestly have no fucking idea how this haircut is called or even requested.
And no, I will not grow it out or I'll look like a white Corbin Bleu.

Maybe kinda random question but did you see the movie Beaufort? If so, I'm curious if you feel it's a good representation of what it shows. I was really impressed by the movie but it would be cool to hear an opinion from someone more knowledgable about the issues at hand.

Fade, keep it dark. Thats the cut I have in my pic. Looks somewhat similar to yours.
And oh yea, get ready to pay out the ass. I'm past spending $15 on a cut every 3 weeks.

We have razor numbers, but I always just get my hair cut with clippers. The numbers go from one to to five, one being the shortest cut and five the longest. Just looking from your picture I'm guessing yours would be a pretty low number. Generally you just say roughly how you want it to look, what razor number you use, and if they don't totally butcher it you tip them a few bucks.
