Check if there isn’t an update to the app.I'm on the android app and there isn't anything like that on my phone.
Think the latest is 0226I think I skipped the controller update. Can someone tell me what the current version number is,please?
I added things to my list but where the hell is the actual list at in the app?
I really don't understand how they are yet to enable the nvme expansion slot on these machines. Its been how long now?
There must be something wrong. It just doesn't make any sense.
I does makes sense. It's not about the expansion bay, but about the availability of those supported NVMe drives.
Yeah, it's a rubbish update tbhCTRL-F VRR,ALLM,M2 NVMe

OK. Thx.Think the latest is 0226
Like what? Didn't notice anything special when I looked under accessories. Is the brightness stuff new?
I left PT there too.I like what they did with the Game Base, by separating the groups from friends list, and what they did on the Library, can finally hide all the demos and betas i played on PS4 and was showing on my game library. No moreI still left PT un hidden because im masochist.
Nope, but as pointed out below maybe it hasn't updated yetCheck if there isn’t an update to the app.

Yup. This update helped with thisDisk spin every hour seems to have been fixed or quieted down a lot. Anyone else?
Also, not sure if anyone needs to hear this, but it helped save me from buying a new external ssd. Apparently certain enclosure chipsets for external nvme drives don't play nice with the PS4/PS5 rest mode causing them to power off momentarily/need repair every time you go into rest mode. I got a new one today and it works great other than super slow download speeds (<0.5MB/s) from the rear USB A ports. I switched it to the front C port and speeds are identical to the internal drive (~75MB-100MB/s).

Thanks for sharing and the info. I'm using an adata se800 external ssd nvme drive and have this issue with not being able to use it in rest mode without repairing everytime I turn the system on from rest.
Is there anything I can do to my external ssd drive to fix this? I can't open it and put it in a different encloser could I? Would it be best to maybe just sell it and get another one that is confirmed to work with the ps5? I've had it for a few months so can't return it.
Website even mentions that it's ps5 compatible but not being able to use it in rest mode is a deal breaker for me.

There are still not much of these fast PCIe gen4 NVMe drives available on the market atm.
Nothing haha, sorry about that.^ What does the sale have to do with the spring update?
HDMI controls can be changed in the system menu already manI really hope Sony fixes hdmi feature. As someone with more than just ps5 attached to TV, I hate it when ps5 turns on because I turned on TV to watch something else. No other devices I have auto turn itself on because TV input is set to it. Pretty annoying.
Nothing haha, sorry about that.
Do you know where exactly they are? I was annoyed today when my console turned on after the tv.HDMI controls can be changed in the system menu already man
IIRC Settings>System>Something about HDMI. I just turned it off and never gave a second look, but it's definitely there.Do you know where exactly they are? I was annoyed today when my console turned on after the tv.
Uhhh is the update out yet? I don’t think I’ve gotten a notification of an update at all and the system says it’s up to date....

These things are impossible to find. For most PS5 users these features WILL be there on day 1.Its nice when they add features that should have been there day 1.
Factually true but still annoying for consumers currently. Had to wait long for suspend mode on the ps4 so it's now a new experience really. These things are impossible to find. For most PS5 users these features WILL be there on day 1.
I've tried it and it didn't fix the problem, dude.HDMI controls can be changed in the system menu already man
That's a bug. Should work the moment you switch it.I've tried it and it didn't fix the problem, dude.
If you know anything about how to effectively cool PC hardware (including storage, be it HDD or SSD), then it it could've been easy for you to see that what they have there for M.2 cooling is just pointless and useless at best. HDDs in Notebooks are cooled the same way, or rather not cooled at all which is why they are dying cuz of overheat (one of many reasons of course, but still one of them) cuz there's nothing there to actively and effectively cool them.
I think M.2. was the absolute last thing they've thought about when it comes to cooling and you can see it perfectly there. There's just no room for any custom and active cooling solution which you can get on PC where room is not a problem at all.
