I'm more excited to play this than GoW:R
Same.

Getting both games day one, but if I had to choose, it would be Callisto easily.
I kind of oddly am as well. Don't get it twisted, I am going to play the snots out of GoWR, but I also know what to expect with that game.

I've been Jonesin' for a 3rd person survival horror in space since Dead Space 1 and 2, and the fact that this is from the creators, I'm all in!

Hahahah you are killing me here.

Since when did graphics dictate Metacritic score?

It looks ugly and blurry?
Creature designs arent scary?

Try harder next time.

Okay, Dead Space Remastered dev, thanks for your input. 🤭

I watcherd it again and I can't believe GAF's hype about it. I mean look at that creature running on the wall towards you(at 1:32). It's pathetic. Kimiko looks like Keanu Reeves model from Cyberpunk 2077 Ps4 edition. We already saw the gameplay recently. It's not hard to put them together to find that Metacritic prediction of mine. I hope I will be wrong though, because I paid for it already lol.

What if it is but you still like it? Many Metacritic 60s are someone’s favourite game.

Sure, Alpha Protocol is one of my favorite games and that's like 63% on Meta.

I just don't see how this game could be the same. Unless it's Saints Row broken and severely downgraded on release.

Looks really, really good. But bloody hell, this is basically a Dead Space game in all but name. Down to nearly every detail. I suppose he's seeing if lightning can strike twice.

I'm all in. The times right for this.

Much better than what we saw from Gamescom, but I'm still skeptical about the gameplay. I'll buy it if it reviews well and I'm cautiously optimistic. Hopefully it's good.

One of Dead Space’s best parts is seeing fragments of the normal world flipped upside down. The posters and signs of events/jobs/locations/etc. take me back to Dead Space. The main character being strapped in or being forced to endure torture just to progress in the game feels like Dead Space. I bought this already because it’s nailing all the reasons I miss Dead Space. What I like the most is the brutality of everything. I want see things get torn into shreds, mutilated by the environment, and hopefully pound some of these monsters into steel.

Hope to be wrong on my mixed feelings, and kinda feel like an idiot for being more excited for Dead Space Remake than this.
I know how much I'm going to love Dead Space, know how much I love its gameplay, the atmosphere, the story, the Ishimura, and just what to expect.
Here I just feel it's super blatant how Schofield's trying to make another Dead Space but working around the fact he's doing another, unlicensed, Dead Space. That has to be somewhat limiting by design. But maybe on the contrary, liberating in a way?

I don't know, but all these references and similarities with Dead Space they are putting in Trailers are doing the opposite of what I imagine they wanted audiences to feel. And I really don't like how most of those enemies or even locations look.
Still going to buy it to support both this kind of games and old school ideology behind it, but I'm not really excited.
Please, be good.

Why do you feel like an idiot?

I'm more excited for dead space remake aswell, i like what we saw of that one and we know it is a masterpiece compared to this one that is still an enigma.

Also i prefer the enemy design and the combat philosophy better in ds, at least for now that we don't have callisto in out hands.

This looks last gen to its core. Hope it reviews well regardless. But its an uphill battle for my money. Dead Space RE looked better to me, and that's coming from someone who isn't really all to hot on remakes.

Trailers for this game have been good but that last gameplay demonstration left me very worried and really cut off my excitement...Now I'll just wait for some reviews before getting it.I'm a huge Dead Space fan so I really hope this turns out good.
