Yes it was; in literally every version of Snow White other than the Disney movie. Disney screwed up the line in the animated movie, but the line in the original German says "Mirror, mirror..." Heck, Disney also released a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves book in 1973, and their book version correctly says, "Mirror, mirror..."
