Is it gonna be the same setup of "big villain invade city, city is filled with bad guys" like all their Spider-Man games?
Nah its just how corny yall soundIf this is what you are getting from that comment just to cope then more power to you mate.
Welcome to neogaf pal.Nah its just how corny yall sound
Did you watch the trailer?
I liked that bit, enemies should be terrified of fighting wolverine.I thought having a good looking female mercenary freezing in fear "Oh my God!" before getting brutally stabbed in the chest and face by the main character was.. rather bold.
Like God of War III bold.

nailed. as popular as some marvel characters've become, spidey will always be in a 'wholesome family entertainment' class of his own. this game's clearly directed at wolverine fans, so not nearly as inherently widely appealing...yeah gameplay look even more basic than spidey, and the gore is not really the best, a lot of blood but barely any decapitation of vertical body slices or cutting limbs except maybe one robotic leg...
The good amount of blood and the good looking ragdoll are the best praise i have at the moment
I mean if you are not crazy about the wolverine character, the game lose a lot of its selling points, the trailer really doesn't excel at anything for now.

That is the funny part. He joined over a decade before me lol. But that isn't saying much cause I was lurking here even way before that.Click on his name to look at his join date.
So thats why i dont see any dismembered limbs and decapitation on the new trailer. Maybe it has something to do with showing the trailer in cinemas without parental rating.
…A top 5 most popular cartoon of all time that put Xmen on the map?
So popular that they brought it back 3 decades later due to extremely strong demand?
That poor choice?
The cartoon is literally the reason why people want Wolverine to wear the stupid yellow/blue suit over his superior Brown/Orange suit.
They even went with the coward half-cyborg enemies and they cant still get on par with punisher ps2 level of gore, hell, ps1 thrill kill level of gore...I guess according to some people , blood = gore
I think dismemberment = gore
And there barely is any
Because they're clearly sourcing different looks from different media for outfits. Previously I brought up that Jean Gray's look is from X3 the movie. One could even argue Wolverine's main suit is directly referencing Deadpool and Wolverine (especially the mask and eyes). The Sentinel they briefly showed does not look like the traditional one.How about they stay consistent if it's the homage you say it's supposed to be?
Nothing that shown off was impressive. At all. It was already stuff we've known about for a long time, or they just showed off what is essentially the same tropey Sony gameplay we've seen for the past decade but with swapped characters/genders.So we're just going to ignore all the comments that amount to "that was shit" and selectively focus on the more detailed criticism? Not everything has to be viewed in such black-and-white terms.
I'm not talking about people who explain why they weren't impressed. Fair enough, that's what discussion forums are for. I'm talking about the large number of reactions after virtually every showcase that are little more than "shit," "boring," or "waste of time" with no substance behind them.
And this isn't about Sony. The same thing happens after Xbox, Nintendo, Summer Game Fest, or pretty much any gaming event. It's a gaming forum, yet a significant portion of the immediate reaction is always how terrible everything supposedly was.
The strange part is that some people seem to approach showcases looking for reasons to be disappointed rather than looking for things they might enjoy. Criticism is fine, but there's a difference between analysing what didn't work and reflexively declaring everything shit five minutes after the stream ends. Sometimes it feels like being unimpressed has become a personality trait in gaming communities.
