Playing through DS2 on Hardcore was an experience. Really added to the tension knowing how far you could be sent back. I'll never forget hitting the Red Room of Death

I disagree with the criticisms of the voice acting. I think it really added something good to the story and made me more invested in what was going on.

Isaacs visible exhaustion after he sends Ellie off in the ship just before the final section is still a highlight

they're both fantastic and among my fav games of all time.

I think DS1 has the better atmosphere and story though. And i too also like the fact isaac doesn't speak.
