After almost a decade since the previous numbered entry, we finally got the teaser for Persona 6 and it was just that .. a teaser that showed the logo, some vague imagery and that's about it.

Persona 5 also famously got revealed in 2013, a full 3 years before its actual release.

Currently there are some rumors and leaks that suggest Persona 6 might actually be penciled for a Q3/Q4 2027 release date.

They'll have to make an 2027 concert with Persona 4 music included first, so 2028 at the earliest.

This year maybe get another trailer at game awards. Then another trailer next year in summer. Then the release date trailer at game awards 2027. (summer 2028, but they'll do August or some shit)

Imagine being in the shoes of ATLUS

You're releasing Persona 4 Revival in February 2027 and want to give that game enough air to breathe, release Persona 6 too soon after and they both suffocate.

Is waiting 6 months enough, or does it need to be a year?

It's like releasing a new Assassin's Creed, how soon after Black Flag Resynced can you release a new AC game without fatiguing your audience?

I don't see Persona 6 happening until 2028.

2028 is my guess. They probably mean to release in 2027, but there'll probably be development delays and will need more time to polish. Which is fine, I'll be buying regardless of release date. They've yet to let me down.

Even if their intention is to put it out in 2027, they will almost surely hit a development snag and have to delay it until 2028.

Also for having no footage of the game or characters, this might very well be like a "Elder Scrolls VI is coming!" kind of trailer and it is barely in development and won't be out til 2030.

I voted 2028-2029 leaning towards 2029.
