New to the Series? Learn about the journey.
The Persona series has over 30 years of history, but every numbered entry tells its own complete, standalone story - no prior experience required!
Beginning in 1996 with "Revelations: Persona" as a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, Persona has since become a flagship RPG series for ATLUS.

Now, Persona 6 promises the perfect entry point into one of gaming's most beloved franchises for newcomers and a haunting, profound new mystery for those who have been waiting.

What an "amazing" reveal. Truly peak ATLUS. Thank you.
They did the exact same thing with SMTV, and the game turned out to be an absolute banger. Atlus is the Rockstar of jrpgs, a single logo is enough to hype up millions of people for the next Persona game, no need to waste money on adds and trailers when you know millions will buy it either way.

Shticks get old. Different times we live in. Sure, people will get hyped, but it's starting to get stupidly annoying.

I never actually played P5 Royal

is it worth going back to for a second play-through over the og?

I will be excited when they anounce the Golden/Royal/GiveMeMoMoney edition. Not getting fooled by Atlus ever again.

I bought Royal only because the og's not available to buy on PC and my PS3 died. If you still have easy access to the old version I'd say nah not worth the price unless if you get it on sale, there is new stuff, but it's mostly still the same game.

As a Persona non-superfan, yes. You get a new "castle" with an entirely new epic ending, and a new character for your party. The villain is great. You do need to take care if you do replay it since you need to visit the new school teacher every time you get the chance else you get locked out of the new content(yeah i know its stupid) and you can miss tons of hours and youll just see the normal og ending.

This is gonna be a repeat of p5 where the initial teaser is super haunting and foreboding and then the actual trailer is going to be a lot lighter.

Other than a sense this might be going for a darker/more serious tone this trailer was completely pointless. Atlus/10, would recommend.
