That gritty style still beckons with the call of gunfire and pain. The only thing missing is another opening cinematic.
8.5 Graphics
The game still looks darn good and animation routines still make battles priceless. New snow effects and a great set piece in the last level round out the fun.
8.0 Sound
Music is dramatic enough. New unit acknowledgements are good though the General Sturnn character's voice could be less... um, lame.
8.5 Gameplay
The story was definitely better this time around. Campaign is still a bit short, but the challenge helps. I do wish some of the AI issues had been addressed.
8.5 Lasting Appeal
Still addictive and the addition of the Imperial Guard and new MP maps will extend the life a bit.
