Expect to beat up and down on the Vortaak all over the world in 12 massive, destructible environments, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka and New York. The stages are even larger than the last game, and now have hills to climb, plenty of water to play monster polo in as you toss a ship into your opponent, and even more planes and tanks counterattacking to keep you moving. In addition to the world’s military might set upon you, expect loads of Vortaak UFO’s, monsters, and other deadly surprises as Godzilla attempts to find all the G-Cells scattered around the planet. There are also a few brief flying stages in space and underwater swimming levels that play like a 3D shooter. The sections I saw were still in progress, and looked great, but I was told that these areas would be even more action packed in the final version.
