With all the recent bad news studio closures, layoffs, and underwhelming releases it's becoming clear to me that gamepass might be Xbox's death sentence. Subscription models work for movies and TV because content is cheaper and quicker to produce. Games are a different beast though, they take years and hundreds of millions to develop.

Microsoft's gamepass strategy doesn't seem sustainable long term. We're seeing a constant declining in quality of their releases and unless a miracle happens, this could be the beginning of the end for Xbox as we know it

Yes when I say a mistake I mean a business mistake, obviously for customer its a good deal but for game's sales its a fucking disaster and we are seeing the result of that now

They signed up because MS were bleeding giving them money to build a gamepass userbase. It was slowly killing xbox though when they failed to reach their goals.

If gamepass was good for companies we would not have constant bad news from companies closing. Think about it friend its not that hard to put two and two together

• We buy everything
• We give every game for no money to gamer and we gain every gamer around the world
• We kill competitor
• We rise prices
• We get all the money for us and investors

Gamepass result is

• We tried what's above
• We lost money and investors cause they make more money with IA
• We bought a lot of woke bubbles and we inflated that bubbles with even more rainbow shits
• We gave anyway games for no money not thinking that gamer are also greedy retarded that get more games they can play and if you ask them for a dollar they run away like rats
• We had a lot of money to spend anyway
• We had to give our games to competitors

It kind of felt like a giant ponzi scheme, and if they were expecting 70 million customers at this point, that kind of growth would feed into that notion.
